[Rumor] Sony to drop exclusive bombshell announcement

Half Life 2: Episode 3

Portal 2

PS3 exclusives.

That would be a bombshell and would raise alot of PS3 console sales.

I agree about the level of that bombshell (more like a cluster**** to be honest :p), but as it stands, no way in hell. :s

Maybe if they were planning on shutting down Steam altogether, but they're not.

Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm going to keep saying that game until I get it right. :p

That's actually pretty plausible.

Blizzard exclusivity deal for a console version of it's next gen MMO

With Mouse and Keyboard support, that would be a bombshell.

I'm personally hoping for Mass Effect 1 and 2.

The Blizzard idea is the only possible one that could be called a bombshell. ME 1/2 is overdue (PS3-only people are missing out!), Kingdom Hearts 3 is also overdue but expected eventually, etc etc. Sony's been Molyneaux-esque when it comes to hyping announcements.

Plus it's obviously a new Oddworld game ;)

That would be so awesome, Abe's Odyssey and Exodus were awesome games back in the day on the Playstation.

They never should have taken the next games to Xbox only, talk about abandoning the existing fanbase.

No No No, you guys are all wrong.

We all know it is Legacy of Kain REMAKE! Also they are doing Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver "Redemption".... if only that were true.

Probably another GTA exclusive, as the pr guy, said "it does not mean Sony will anounce anything from R* !! I just meant what they announce will be as huge as the gta deal - you get it right ?"

Something like a ZOE3 or Kain I wouldn't consider to be a bombshell, more just an announcement.

A bombshell should be something TOTALLY unexpected, not quite Halo or Zelda coming to PS3 but something along the lines of a developer bringing a previously exclusive IP to the Sony machine. Timed exclusives are useless if you ask me and don't really serve any purpose.

Maybe they've tied up an exclusive licence, everyone is looking towards MS games, but thinking about it there are a lot of DS games that could get a pretty nice remake through the PlayStation Move.

ZOE or Kain would be amazing, however I am more inclined to agree with your second point.

I agree, I'd love to see a ZOE3 or even an Einhander 2 fom Square but I just wouldn't consider them 'Bombshells'

I guess you make a good point, as ZoE was never a major AAA title. :p

But, with pretty much no news of anything ZoE related for the longest time and the smashing underground success of ZoE 2, I can't but help feel that a ZoE 3 announcement would nonetheless be a very big 'bombshell' announcement.

Although this is probably just very wishful thinking on my part.

    • This makes me think of Dune for some reason.
    • I'm too old to return to the "good old days" when I was installing custom ROMs and tinkering with my devices - now I just want to turn it on and use it. I've read that banking and payment apps work on Murena /e/OS (I'll have to check the ones I use) and I also really want to support Fairphone 😉
