[Rumor] Sony to drop exclusive bombshell announcement

Recommended Posts

Exclusives are so lame - I don't understand why big names even bother.

In the other thread, FFXIII for 360 has 40% of the vote now surely those sale numbers would far outweigh anything Sony or Microsoft could offer a developer. I'm certainly not going to buy the other console just because of one game, no matter how good it may be (I still haven't played MGS4, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet...)

I'm sorry but the God of War series and the Uncharted series alone are worth having a PS3.

I know they're bloody phenomenal games, which is all the more reason why it doesn't make sense for them to be exclusives since they'd bring it way more money if they were on multiple platforms. I already have a Wii collecting dust between titles so I don't need another console. =\

*mouth waters*

Its not even funny to jokingly get our hopes up!

birthday & veteran tag.

*bow* well done, sir.

The studios are outright owned by Sony, which is why they're exclusive. And the fact that they're exclusive is about 60% of the reason they are such phenomenal games (same goes for 360 exclusives as well) -- most (not all) multiplatform releases are held back by having to factor in each hardware's weakest link. And a smaller dev with a new IP, like Media Molecule, was helped by not having to expand their resources for a multiplatform release.

TimeSplitters :D

/dreams alone

Free Radical (now called Crytek UK) have already announced & confirmed TimeSplitters 4 last year. It's on hold for now until they think the market is ready for it. Or some BS like that...

Personally I don't rate them as a very good studio anyway. I mean Haze...c'mon  TimeSplitters wasn't much better either. Probably going to get lynched for that last comment, but it's success was only brought around cause it was the only FPS to make do with :p

100% agree. Lets get lynched together

GRAND TURISMO 5 !!!!!

Half Life 2: Episode 3

Portal 2

PS3 exclusives.

That would be a bombshell and would raise alot of PS3 console sales.

mmm impossible not to see them on PC, and Valve never hide their PS3 hate, so no (N)

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
