I was highly disappointed with Hot Tub. Seems like the best scenes are from the trailers. Too many dumb down scenes & dialogs. Not even close to Hangover & I thought Hangover wasn't all that. I definitely expected more.

I've been invited to a preview screening of Hot Tub Time Machine, on Monday night (film isn't released over here yet). I'm not sure if I should go, however. On the one hand, it's a John Cusack film (one of my fav. actors), but on the other hand - it's a John Cusack film, and he hasn't made a decent one for a long, long time. The trailer looked "alright" at best.

There wasn't much too this movie, it's an original-ish idea, and had some funny parts, but could have been a lot funnier. So many people said this movie was hilarious, but I was slightly disappointed with it..

I thought it was fairly funny as well. Just keep your expectations low, don't think about it too much, and you'll enjoy it. It's not the funniest thing I've ever seen no, but it has its moments.

While I enjoyed it, it was not great. Had a few funny moments but as other said we saw most of them during previews. Idea of the movie sounded funny but it was not executed that well. 5 or 6 out of 10.

I remember when this first came out and people were talking about how it was going to be the next Hangover. Well, I can see why it failed at the box office and ultimately ended up with mediocre reviews.

It simply wasn't funny. There were a few amusing parts, but in the end it was a cliched comedy that didn't have much going for it.
