bluebsh
Ok, i have Command and Conqure: Red Alert 2, and windows xp on all machines, it worked in windows ME and 98 perfectly fine with Microsoft - IPX/SPX protocol, but in windows xp when you install NWLink IPX/SPX and set the frame type to "Ethernet II" and the address to 00.00.00.00 like westwood says on there support site to get RA2 to work on network games, it will not show the games on the network and chat will not work (basicly the games cant see each other) has anyone goten RA2 to work on windows xp on a network?! and how did u do it? thanks! d0tn3t
Yeah. I did. Look in your LAN connection box (two computers in corner of screen), and check what the address for ipx is. Then select the corresponding option in the games network options. That worked for me. Also, I leave it on auto detect.

bluebsh
im guessing ur hub is also not built into a router? i have a feeling thats the cause of the problem since apparently they dont rout ipx/spx, only tcp/ip
