Mainer82
I have this cabinet and need to keep it cooler when the doors are closed. Here's what I'm thinking about doing: Ordering an Antec laptop cooler for the DVR and plugging into the DVRs USB port to power it (DVR is always on) Installing this CabCool 802 Lite setup and positioning it so that one fan will be on either side of the cabinet in the back. You can't see this in the photo but at the bottom behind the Xbox and receiver there are 2x6 holes for cables; I'm not sure if that is relevant or not but thought I'd post it. Thanks for your help. Grex
I would go with the second option. Install it on the back wall blowing the air out of the unit. How are the shelves and the separator in the middle is there room for air to move around in there. Might have to install two of them one on each side. Also put it towards the top (heat rises). Just my 2 cents. Nice cabinet btw.
Dick Montage
Do you REALLY need to cool it to the point of installing active cooling? Wow! Would cutting a few vents at the back not suffice?
