Wake me up when it's over. I have absolutely no interest in this fight whatsoever. Dana flat out said after that trouncing from Shogun that "you will never see Chuck Liddell fight in the UFC again." How long ago was that? I always took Dana to mean the stuff he says. Regarding Rich, Rich is too nice of a guy for this sport. He doesn't have that killer instinct because he cares about people. As much as I like the guy he needs to go back to teaching. If he's going to stay then throw some of this kicks with power!!

I don't know about that, I think that Chuck v Rich will be an interesting fight.

Trouble is, it feels like a filler PPV. If Chuck wins, what next for him? I remember a time where people argued he was in the same league as Shogun. Not in a million years now. He doesn't go anywhere from there as the Champion and top contenders are far too strong for him.

As for Rich, as notta mentioned above, he doesn't have the killer instinct and again the top contenders in the divisions he has fought in are far too strong for him.

Chuck vs. Tito would be a good story build up and cash cow, but not as a main event. Co-main event maybe, but main event is a bit too much IMO.

Come on. Rich is fine for the sport. He's a talented fighter. Diminished self-esteem since the losses to Silva, but still a good fighter.

As for Chuck, we'll see if he can come back from this. Right now, he may be in a low spot, but there's nothing to say that he can't fight and win against others to rise up to be the champ again.

Coincidentally, or conveniently ? depending upon how you want to look at it, Mirko ?Cro Cop? Filipovic located the Fountain of Youth just in the nick of time. Immediately following his 3rdRound victory over the starstruck Pat Barry at UFC 115, CC hit the MMA free agent market.

?I wanted to prove to everyone that I?m not too old, and they are wrong,? Filipovic said at the post-fight press conference. ?I?ve got to tell you my preparation for this fight was the hardest preparation in all my life.?

After a disappointing debut with the world?s premier MMA organization in 2007, where Cro Cop posted a lackluster 1-2 mark, CC and the UFC amicably parted ways despite having multiple fights remaining on his contract. For whatever reason, the veteran wasn?t right and needed to hone his skills elsewhere before returning to the Octagon.

In July of 2009, While told Yahoo! Sports that the 2-0 (with a No Contest against Alistair Overeem) record Cro Cop put up since leaving the UFC was good enough to warrant an unprecedented one-fight deal. After posting a dominant 1stRound TKO over Mostapha Al-Turk at UFC 99 (The card was appropriately titled, ?The Comeback?), Cro Cop earned himself the pre-arranged three-fight extension to remain with the UFC.

The 2006 Pride Open Weight Grand Prix champ broke-in his newly inked deal by unleashing a slow and sluggish performance against the up-and-coming Junior dos Santos at UFC 103. The 3rdRound TKO loss apparently lit a fire under Cro Cop because he?s posted two straight finishes since, including his rear-naked submission of Barry on Saturday.

While most were dumping dirt on his illustrious career after his humiliating loss to dos Santos, Cro Cop found a way to recapture his Pride FC mojo and has surprisingly become the hottest name on the open market this side of Jake Shields.

?We?re going to talk to Mirko and see what Mirko wants to do,? UFC president Dana White stated. ?Mirko has said to me and [uFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta] that he wants to finish his career here, so we plan on him finishing his career with the UFC.?

If White and Co. were hoping to get a hometown discount because they were kind enough to allow the controversial striker back into their Octagon, just listen to his money-motivated post-fight speech where he was fishing for a PAIR of Fight Night Bonuses.

?I hope Dana White is not too stingy,? Filipovic jokingly said. ?I want that Submission of the Night bonus, and maybe Fight of the Night, too??

Cro Cop had to settle for only taking home Submission of the Night honors, but the extra $85,000 should be the first of many large payments to come for the rejuvenated, if not resurrected, 35-year-old.

Was a great event.. Sad to see McDonald lose with 7 seconds left, that kid has some heart man..

Pat Barry looked phenomenal in the first round, but he ****ed himself by not finishing, he'll learn from it and come back stronger next time.

Martin Kampman is a beast.. dude has a chin of steel i swear, he's gonna end up on top at some point.

The Danzig loss in the prelims was BS.. soooo BS.

Poor Chuck.. he looked fanastic for most of the 1st round, but he has no chin left on him, that was such a weak shot by franklin, still can't believe he buckled like that. I had chuck winning that round. Sucks to see him go but he just can't take a punch anymore.

I am happy to see CroCop looking great again.. can't wait to see more from him.

Here is a funny pic from the event that i wanted to share..lol

    • I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.
    • I wonder if "put it back the way it was for decades" ever crossed their minds? 🤣
    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.
