The_Decryptor Veteran Posted April 16, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 16, 2010 I wish more sites would adopt Silverlight to. For me, it is far superior to Flash (as in no stupid CPU load or browser crashing) and in some cases HTML5. http://www.flickrlight.net/ That site uses 100% CPU for me, and has crashed on me. But, it'd be interesting to see if it's localised.
HawkMan
It goes up to 80 cpu, but doesn't crash. it doesn't seem terribly well coded, though it does look good. but I Think he could have ogtten help from a more experienced coder.
George P Global Moderator Posted April 16, 2010 Global Moderator Share Posted April 16, 2010 Doesn't crash for me but it sure does use mostly all of my i7 920, all 8 cores in HT mode.

Elliott
Is anyone else getting Silverlight v3 DMG instead of v4 when they click the link?...Or is Silverlight 4 only for Windows at the moment? I went to the Facebook Client link and it prompted me to download the v4 DMG. When I tried to find it on my own, I couldn't.
