it appears they have begun to integrate the statusbar into the adress bar in the latest nightly.

Animations of opening tabs ets are still somewhat choppy om my pc though

I can't see any difference in DirectWrite rendering after installing the IE9 beta, it has the same rendering in light on dark cases.

Wanted to see that! Wich one is the latest hourly for win32 ? I'm lost in the "/tinderbox-builds" folder on the FTP server...

Lately for me, Add-ons haven't been able to update. Has anyone else experienced this? Checking for updates works, and as far as I can tell, so does the download, but after Firefox restarts, there's no change. Checking for add-on updates again yields the same update but again after restarting, there's no change. And it just goes on like this. I'm not sure exactly when updating add-ons began to fail, but now even trying to install something like the Add-on Compatibility reporter doesn't work.

I've tried a fresh install but the issue remains.

Something to note is that when trying to install an add-on from the addon site, I can click "Add to Firefox", and the little "Are you sure?" window counts down as it should, but after clicking install, I'm instantly prompted to restart, which leads me to believe that the add-on is failing to download in the first place, and something is making Firefox believe it did when it really didn't.
