Arnold attempts to lift the spirits of American soldiers serving in Iraq, by telling them 'You Guys Are the True Terminators'. The terminators are robots out to kill off humans. I find it laughable that he chose to use those words to attempt to cheer them up...

I think Arnold was meant to keep up and lift up American spirit in fighting war. That way the soldiers are motivated even better.

Ahnold is ok by me. He didn't have to go to Iraq, but he did and showed he supported them. The Terminator ref is ok, too.

i dig arnold. he meant well by what he said. samoa is probably taking it wrong. its hard not to nowadays with all the anti-american comments we are constantly defending against.

In T2 the Ahnold Terminator was a good guy. The Robert Patrick Terminator was a bad guy. From what I understand of T3, Ahnold is a good guy again.

The Terminator refs were ok because the Terminator is known and everyone roots for him no matter if he is good or bad. Comparing the troops to terminators lifts their spirits and lets them know that we think they can do anything. That's a good thing.

Couldn't agree more. Yupe I admit both Terminator and Terminator 2 were great! Excellent storyline too :happy:
