Thas a lie, i IM you and you refused to give me the dock, i even begged and i got nothing.

But no thanks to you i still got the dock from another neowin user :lick:

Cause I've only just found some ftp space to put it up on, When someone was asking for it literally every 20 seconds I couldn't keep Sending it. Everyone who has asked me in the past 2 days or so has got it, 100% of them, I've given it to over 40 people in the past 2 days. You can understand why I dont post the link, cant you? So, I'll repeat myself.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DOCK, CONTACT ME ONE OF THE WAYS IN MY SIG AND YOU WILL HAVE IT...

I've posted a new desktopX application launcher at AquaSoft. It's a beta release, but what makes it stand out is a new icon conversion process that allows me to convert Mac OSX icons straight into .psd files so they maintain full alpha blending (smooth edges, perfect shadow, etc...)

This dock is the most realistic looking dock I've created to date. Now to work on functionality. :|

Yeah... Dazzla was right... I've contact him on Msm and he gave me the address for downloading it. I guess it should be annoyong having people ask for it every 20 secs when you're online.

Anyway... I tried it... looks cool... but i can't find any way to customize it... cos if i try to right click, it simply add another icon called TestItem. And plus... when i launch it my start bar disappear.

Any help?!?

:D I wonder how many posts/replies neowin will allow any given thread...Bump this thread whenever you get a chance. Is it just me; or does the skinning community, as a whole, seem to be operating at an extremely low level. I am also surprised regarding the fact that all the major skinning sites have humongo lists of skinnable apps & a big fat (0) next to each one of them (except for WinAmp of course, yek). :D Seems to be that Winamp is turning into Sonique. They mention a upcomming version, and beta test for over a year. Even after 6 months since the first beta release I tested on Winamp 3, I have come across nothing but lame bugs. Not just your any day bug in a beta. Plus, it eats the sh1t out of your resources and never remember settings you set, nor the last playlist used. It sounds the same, if not, worse becauseof your resources getting gobbled by the lama abusing app. Any thoughts concerning MS getting charged with antitrust laws? Will there be a Windows in 2004? Will Mac turn around and start using mainstream compatibly in OS X? Is MS paying the officials off so they don't get caught up in the truth? Any feedback will be insightful to many...I'm too tired to check for spelling/grammar errors, so don't quote my mistakes. :p

If someone ever decompiled and got the code for object dock and then fix some of the program and add the scale effect that the OS X dock has.

I think it would be simple to put it on there since the Desktop manager toolbar (from powertoys) uses this effect. :D

BTW: how are you guys addding the icons cus when i drag something to the dock it doesn't show an icon for it.

and if i restart it i loses the icons.

There are 2 Builds of Object Dock Avalible.

Build Number 1) It has Very Poor Genie that is Very slow and makes a big Clear box on the Screen. How ever in this build you Can add Shortcuts to the Dock With the Icons.

Build Number 2) It dose very Fast Genie. Perfect infact. It only Slows down with about 8 Programs running. But when you try to add Icons the shorcut appears but with no Icon.

You will No for sure which build you have by Looking in the Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Del).

Build Number 1 will Have "Dock Icon" Repeated

Build Number 2 will Have "crap" Repeated.

Here is a Link to both of the builds.

Build Number 1 - Bad Genie

Build Number 2 - Good Genie

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
