Im not seeing any reports that the console package comes with the wireless headset, I am seeing it as a separate item for $49.99. Any reports on it being in the bundle.

I believe you are correct. The information on the Microsoft page says that it comes with a Xbox 360 headset (black) and the wireless silver one is listed as a "related product." I guess someone assumed it was included because of the branding.

Ya, it only makes sense that they do, but since the new arcades aren't on sale yet no reason to put the new HDDs on sale either. I expect both to come out at the same time later on.

That sucks because that would have really sweetened the deal. No worries, i preordered one anyways. Want a new slim model and the extra controller plus game make up the $100 increase. Lets not forget the cusotm boot sounds too. I prefer the silver matte to the gloss black to.

I bought it (still waiting for delivery) even though I already own an Xbox 360

Bought the Slim partly because it's awesome (built in WiFi N, smaller, less noise), but also because my current Xbox 360 still scratches discs (no warranty), even after repair.
