I'll kick your arse online :p

Want new media, having to resort to fan made trailers, although this one is nice :D

The hell you will! :p I've been in a pro gaming final, I have! OK, it was Need for Speed Shift, but it still counts! :p

And that's a nice fanmade trailer. :)

I don't have room for a racing wheel but there is a new controller coming out with people like myself in-mind. The HKS Controller for the PS3 is being by InterWorks Unlimited in roughly two weeks; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UF9BK2?ie=UTF8&tag=whens-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003UF9BK2

I should be getting a sample copy as soon as the controller is ready to ship and will definitely report back :)

Em...what? That controller looks....horrible....

If you've seen it demo'd you'd likely think otherwise. And as I said, I'm getting a (free) sample copy to review. I'm expecting to see an improvement in steering, specifically being able to hold a smoother line through turns.

I saw this game being played in normal and 3D at the London Expo gaming event and my take on it is, the 3D version maybe i was to close to the screen or the fact that the 3D glasses had these wires stuck to them so people couldnt walk off with the glasses but it didnt need 3D glasses. Out of the 2 racing games (Forza 3/GT5) GT5 looked abit more sharpe then Forza 3 on the screen. But again not sure if different make of HD screens make a difference. And seeing as Forza 3 has not released a new DLC just seems they working already on Forza 4.. but still the game is still new. GT5 also has more of the features i wanted on Forza 3. I wont get a PS3 just for GT5, i just stick with my Xbox 360!

Having been a GT fan, and also owned Forza3.. I'm not happy with Forza 3, it just doesn't feel right. But I can't compare it with GT5 as I have never played it. But I sold my Forza 3 copy, and waiting on GT5 now.

Online play in Forza 3 is terrible, unless you race with a known group who want to have fun/proper racing. There is always 1 car thats way better than anything else for a particular track so if you wanted to top the time sheets you basically had to have that car and setup. I'm hoping GT5 to be differrent, but I doubt it :pinch:

I can't see the video AB. It's just a white space. I tried to use the 2Qn7TL9mMq at youtube but no luck.

I made a mistake

Pretty sure you'll only be able to race cars in the same class online.

If you're still getting owned, race the go karts instead :p

With pro physics and damage turned on that car will be crap to handle :p

Rollover.gif

Oddly enough, I saw a Reliant Robin today in town, but it didn't roll over. :(

When I watched the video, some troll commented on it, saying the rollovers were to do running over the rumble strips, then crashing, neither of which actually happened, because I actually watched the video. It's just an Italian Reliant Robin. :p

Unfortunately, that is the same in every racing game :(

Sad but true. Personally, I think the best solution to stop that problem on the leaderboards is to only allow standard tuning and set-ups (obviously, you get to pick the assists) to set valid times. Then if you want to stop it in online gameplay, the best solution would probably be to include a game modifier that allows you to disable custom tunings and set-ups. It's a big ask, but it probably would be the best solution.

Oh, what I hate in Forza is that sometimes one car is the best in several groups! I remember in Forza 2, the Honda CRX dominated most of the lower group times.

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12.
