I preordered mine in a EbGames store in Quebec City. Gamestop also has it. The guy told me this morning that they can preorder the CE for only the past two weeks or so.

Well I just went and purchased a PS3 slim along with Prologue to tide me over, all for this game. I am a die-hard Gran Turismo fan and this is one I can not pass on. So now I own a 360 and PS3. No more hating for me :whistle: Oh and I am downloading FFVII just for old time sake.

Played the demo again yesterday (played it at Target this time). I decided to take the GTR out on the Rally track. BAWAHAHAHAHAHAAHA that was a mistake. I was all over the dirt like a cheap suit. Hint: Use the rally car on the rally track in the demo :)

Game looked AWESOME.

They have a demo of it at Target???? Of THE Gran Turismo 5???? Where have I been?

Well, at least in Madison Wisconsin. It's at the Target on Lien Road. That doesn't mean they all do. However, Madison is only a population of about 200k, so I suspect cities that size or larger will have it as well.

The cockpit detail is just amazing in there. Doesn't surprise me that there isn't one for all cars really.

It's a stage of a model render and does not have all the game engine affects (most notably lighting) added to it it would in-game.

So far I've said that the gameplay to me looks no different than Forza, until I saw the weather effects. :blink: They look amazing. I still think the game (any game) shouldn't be based off the still photo mode or the improved replays. Gameplay is where it's at.

I don't think i've ever seen rain done as well as this before. Not seen F1 2010 but apprently that is pretty good too. Seems the variables for each race with weather and time of day might make the fact you possibly have to go back to the same course for the 50th time enjoyable.

      They used AI based TOOLS to convert the JavaScript engine (the main rendering engine is still C++) and it was not fully automated but was human reviewed. Other subsystems will be looked into to also be converted to Rust in the future. I have no problem with any of that.

      No we just do it manually, our contact methods are calls, chats and e-mails. Whoever is doing the e-mail task for the day, deals with the e-mail, logs the appropriate ticket, adds the reference to the source e-mail and then files it in the appropriate folder. At least that's how it's supposed to work
