Great find Killa. Thanks! This actually confirms what I had mentioned before about the number tracks. Looks like they are counting reverse/sections/weather versions of tracks. Still looks amazing though.

Not all tracks are unlocked yet as it's missing a couple of track variations.

Yep, it says on the article:

NOTE: This does not appear to be all of the tracks in the game -- only circuits which are initially available in ?practice mode? as you start out. Several important, confirmed circuits are missing, such as the Nurburgring Nordschleife and the Top Gear Test Track.

Source.

The current rumor is November 27th!

Really? EB Games here (Australia) is listing December 31st :/ but maybe that's a generic place holder date I dunno. However, even if Sony confirm Nov 27th is the date I still think we won't see it till March '11 though, as I have no faith in Sony delivering this game in time for Christmas....

What's with the fail driving, lol.

never mind the driving he was just showing off the head tracking. but I really hope you can adjust the zoom level of that camera, why would anyone want 60% of the screen to be car interior. from normal gamign distance your screen is already significantly smaller than an actual car windscreen. are you supposed to sit there squinting trying to make out the road...

Same with most cockpit views :( They normally have a bonnet cam though which is better if you want to see more of the road.

Do you think they'll just ship it, without any announcement? You know, surprise everyone, catch us off guard. Or announce it the day before?

I suspect they are waiting for the production of the BR to be complete and shipped to the relevant countries. This way, once they are in distribution centres Sony can confirm a release date that they can hold too. My sumple thoughts are that they don't want any more hic-ups for the release and are making sure they can commit to a release date.

We know the BR are in production, we now have leaked copies. I guess there will be an announcement next week.

I think they're shipping them everywhere first then they'll announce a date like a week before.

Why? So that game journalists don't put the new release date in doubt after all the delays. You can't really run a headline with a question mark after the games in stores everywhere :p

Of course forums like this will be full of the on my doorstep or 2011, but it's the press that matters most.

November 27th is my bet.

Why would it launch on a Saturday?

26th is my birthday, so could be a belated present!

I reckon AB's pretty close, but it'll probably be the 26th, thanks to two words: Black Friday.

For those who don't know, Black Friday is the first Friday after Thanksgiving in America, and it signals the start of the Christmas shopping season. It's also when almost every retailer goes nuts with deals.

Sony would be onto a winner in America if they released it during the Black Friday weekend.

    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.

    • We do it all the time on our IT Service desk mailbox to add a reference, in the subject line, once it's been logged and then it's filed into the appropriate sub-folder. Other companies probably do the same thing.
    • "No. The "New Outlook for Windows" does not support non-cloud mailboxes (such as on-premises Exchange servers). Furthermore, because the New Outlook effectively functions as a web-based client, it requires all connected accounts—even standard IMAP or POP accounts—to route and cache data through Microsoft's cloud servers. You can verify the accepted account setups using the Microsoft Supported Account Types Guide." Built to fail "New" Outlook is basically just webmail in a window wrapper and it's usefulness reflects that.
