Premium. You can tell by clear windows and has cockpit view.

That might be why i cannot tell, been rarely using cockpit view. I finally forced myself to later on, seem to be getting used to it finally.

Tip: Change your sound settings to small theatre!

Nice, will try this now. My wife is gonna be even less happy. The engine rumble in the sub is something of beauty.

Couple of questions here since some of you are "expert" in gt. What site can we access the pictures taken ingame, and 2nd question has anyone tried the VW Camper. I can't seem to move up the list from 12th position whatever I try, all the damn campers stay the same position they started with (In Top Gear Test Track).

Could be wrong but pretty sure you have to access the pictures off of your xmb itself.

Did not realize i got a free car from amazon...

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

....

This code will give you the in-game Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth Model car.

I'll take a free Benz.

^ I just got the email as well, Really nice of amazon (Y) . I know you can put the picture into XMB but I'm not sure about the online features yet, since Sony's online logins are Piece of CR@P (yeah they have sign up page but no sign in page anywhere). Only login works best is at playstation.com and gap that's it, all the gaming website where they have PS login integrated works like s***.

As for the pictures, yes you export to your XMB then you can upload via the Photo Album app to either Facebook or Picassa, or just put to USB and any online hosting.

With the 12 camper vans, use the drafting method, can normally take one in the first set of cones and another 3 during it, then down the long straight and the slow corners go tight through them. Got 1st place on first clean attempt after realising you get DSQ'd for cutting corners :(

Oh I remember a question I have...

Am I the only person that feels much more comfortable having the accelerate and brake mapped to the triggers? Is there an advantage using the default X and SQUARE buttons? Right now I am using automatic so shifting gears is not a concern.

I use the right analogue stick for my throttle/brake. Easier to do slight adjustments than buttons. Not tried mapping to triggers yet though.

Does that mean you have some spare codes? rofl.gif

I think it's just mapped the way it is for gear shifting on manual.

Thats what I use, the triggers, I find it much easier to control then the right stick. Plus you can tap the brake while accellerating on some corners can give a slight advantage :D I've always used the triggers for racing games, but need to have the clip on extenders(??) to get a better feeling

Still haven't received my e-mail fom Amazon regarding the Benz. Only got my $10 credit. Any idea when the rest of the e-mails are supposed to go out?

Actually that's what I did some of the races I would rather have the controller then wheel so I did a little remap of the controller settings. Also some of the races you can't go on without going manual.

Oh no, I am definitely screwed when I have to go manual.

Same here, using the real triggers. (Y)

Haven't gotten my e-mail for the Benz yet. Totally unamused.

I literally got it right when I posted that, so was about an hour ago, so thinking you should hopefully get it sometime very soon.

Hmm... well got home, got the patch, installed the game, went through all the setup and had an hour or so at it.

Got to be honest.. I think I prefer Forza 3 so far! :( Obviously need a bit more time to get used to it, etc and enjoy it - hoping that multiplayer is going to improve my opinion of things when I hook up with some friends.

Finally got into the game. Really enjoying it but to be honest graphically it is nothing special even for a racing game. Still the driving part of it is was matters and they've nailed it.

Loving using the wheel, although i really suck. I win easily but isn't the most prettiest of driving. I think it could be they always start you with an Front wheel drive car to get you used to the game. I did one of the licences test with the s2000 and that car is already known to be tail happy and it was. Slightly too much power and that thing goes into a slide.

LingwoMK2 if anyone wants to add me and race.

i leave it the way it is, i hate the trigger buttons on ps3. i know you have those attachments though so i understand why you would do it that way.

I suspect this will hurt more than then help:

Lens of Truth: Forza 3 outperforms GT5

Conclusion: There's no doubt that Gran Turismo 5 and Forza 3 are beautiful looking racing games, but quite honestly we were expecting a little more from Gran Turismo 5 in the performance department. Not only did Gran Turismo 5 constantly fall below the 60 FPS mark, there was quite a bit of noticeable screen tearing occurring throughout. While Gran Turismo 5 may have a slight visual advantage over Forza 3, our analyzer proves that Forza 3 out performed Gran Turismo 5 in almost every video we captured. Lets hope Sony releases a performance patch in the near future, but Sony please don't make us wait too long…

and yeah, i think the standard cars should be in photomode quality even during races, its not like they already have too many polygons or something.... the premium cars have enough of an advantage already with their damage modelling, cockpit views, extra customization etc etc that pushing down the visual quality of the standard cars during races is just pushing down the whole game... after all, standard cars are the majority and premium cars are the minority...

You know I am not letting PD off the hook anytime soon for that lol.

and you shouldn't. they have 400 cars that look good, gt only 200... but the 200 smash the 400 though IMO. but kaz said the game wasn't done yet, and it clearly shown. from all the reviews their biggest beef was the lack of polish.

and also i played forza a lot and i dunno, i just like the way gt5 does things more. To me it's like this, forza is a racing game that is trying to be a sim (not saying it's a bad sim or anything), gt is a sim that has racing in it.

i also love the menu system, it's pretty much the same as the PSP version so i'm used to it already.

It supports magnet links, .torrent files, resume data, sequential downloading, per-file priorities, and even imports from qBittorrent. Power users benefit from integrated RSS auto-download with regex filtering, duplicate detection, and automatic tracker lists from Stremio. Streaming is seamless thanks to auto-detected players like VLC and IINA. A full WebUI enables remote control, while integrations with Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby automate library updates. With themes, speed scheduling, system-tray alerts, and cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, and macOS, BATorrent delivers a polished, high-performance torrenting experience. It now looks like the same product, not a separate dashboard. Pairing is one tap and zero typing: the generated WebUI password is now copyable, and the QR code carries the credentials — scanning it from your phone logs straight in (no typing the IP or password), then drops the credentials from the address bar. Search Two new providers: RuTor (CIS sources, no login, via a public TorAPI relay) and Torrents-CSV. Results are sorted by seeders (healthiest first), and each search now times out after 15 s so one dead provider can't hang the UI. Files & trackers Per-file priority is back: right-click a file in the detail panel to set Skip / Low / Normal / High. Rename an individual file inside a torrent (double-click or the file menu), separate from renaming the torrent. Remove a tracker from a torrent (the ✕ on a tracker row); adding was already there. Smart Paste on Ctrl+V — paste a magnet, a 40-char info-hash, or a .torrent URL straight from the clipboard and it's added immediately (text fields still paste text normally). Covers & titles Anime fansub naming ([Group] Title - NN) now resolves to the right show. Audio channel layouts in titles (DDP5.1, 7.1, …) are stripped so they don't pollute cover matching. Under the hood The legacy QWidget interface is gone. QML had been the only UI since 3.0.0 (reachable old code lived behind a hidden --legacy flag); with parity confirmed, the entire QWidget layer — main window, every dialog, the theme manager — was removed (~13,400 lines). The four restored actions above were features that backend already supported but the QML port had never wired. macOS: the WebUI password hash moved out of the keychain into app settings, so launching the app no longer pops a login-keychain password prompt on unsigned builds. The actual password still lives in the keychain. Cleanup: ~400 orphaned translation strings and a batch of dead code removed; internal duplication collapsed; an ARCHITECTURE.md added for contributors. Unit / security / memory tests and the ASan/UBSan/TSan sanitizers stay green.
