Okay RayVN I need you to give me a list of the icons you would like done, I mean icons that you would actually see often when using your PC. There are tons of icons in the shell32 and other DLLs that I just don't see so I won't bother doing them. I think I'll definately do the Control Panel icons (category view) but what else?

I'm not sure if I should post this here, but I d/led the Icons, which are great I might add, but there's a few icons I can't seem to change, like My Music and My Pictures. Some others are the "My Hard Drive" icon and CD Drive icons. Can I please get some help w/ this? Thanks.

Job welldone Cha...

Now I would just like to wait for the full .dll file...heh...i`m a lil lazy to replace them in my shell32...

And also the shut down and logoff...

Favourites would be those hdd..and recycle bins...the folders too! Nicely donee....

Can I have the full version or can you post it here? this would be great for everyone! THANKS!

i tried oin the dll thing it didnt work

heres what i did

>extacted the modded dlls u made to a folder

>backed up my originals

>restarted in safe mode with command prompt

>logged in as admin

>tried to copy the files to system32

>got an overwrite dialog,chose yes

>it said that the files were in use in another process and hence cant be overwritten

any other way to go about it

I still use the Restorator method which is the fastest for me.

- Get "Restorator" resource hacker from http://www.bome.com/Restorator/.

- Make sure you either rename or delete the shell32.dll and shdocvw.dll files from your "%windir%\system32\dllcache" folder AND your (i think) "%windir%\ServicePackFiles\i386\" folder and make sure you don't have a Windows XP Install CD in any drive.

- Open my modded DLLs using Restorator

- Then replace one icon from each DLL file using an identical icon from the set I included. (Right-click on icon resources for the "assign to" options). So effectively you are not really changing anything in my modded DLL files, this just lets you save the updated DLL files.

- Click on the floppy disk icon in Restorator to save the DLLs and overwrite the original shell32.dll and shdocvw.dll files in your %windir%\system32\ folder. It will automatically make backups.

- You should then see the file protection warnings after a short pause. This means it worked.

- Reboot.

Sorry, you lost me totally on that ...

I extracted your modded DLL files to C:\Temp

I opened Restorator

Chose FILE/OPEN and browsed to Temp dir and chose shell32.dll from the shell32 folder

After that I am lost :(

Then replace one icon from each DLL file using an identical icon from the set I included. (Right-click on icon resources for the "assign to" options). So effectively you are not really changing anything in my modded DLL files, this just lets you save the updated DLL files.

I have attached a grab of Restorator window opened, what do I do from here? Sorry to ne a pain :(

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
