I replaced the code, seems cleaner, but, what's that url? Every time I open Firefox this code-line connects to that specific address?

Also if you make a bit smaller the tabs, you will get back all the lost tab-space

.tabbrowser-tab:not([pinned])[fadein] {
  max-width: 200px !important;
  min-width: 100px !important;
}

I use it in your Windows 7 Script and working fine.

It was more of an example. I used a url rather than base64 because Neowin screws up the values a bit. You can just replace it with the base64 you have always been using.

Nice ok, I replaced the first part from the link you gave above in userstyles.org. All seems nicely done.

I removed also this part:

width: 16px !important;
height: 14px !important;

and I don't get any problem...

Yea I updated the code a bit, all you really need is:

#appmenu-button .button-icon {
  list-style-image: url();
}

Meanwhile I'm ready to burn the monitor... Or hit it with my head till break into pieces... with all these small changes I do, since now got 1 ton crashes from the freakin gfx-surface bug. DAMN

Surprise.. It's beta software.

Hey, so I'm really bad at this CSS thing, could you help me with MaSx's firefox button Soapy? I want to remove the text from it and leave the blue gradient with the nice FF logo. It also looks like your code is a little more lean, so you might have some improvements or something.

Here's a picture and code and stuff so you don't have to scroll back 40 pages.

(Again, this is not my code and I'm not trying to take credit for it, it was made by MaSx)

Did you want the background to be slightly transparent as it currently is, if you want I can make a few tweaks for you.

Interesting, I didn't even realize it was transparent, I just know that it has some shading and is the least boring of all the buttons out there right now hehe. (Similar to the very well done Opera button)

What kind of changes did you have in mind?

This is what I came up with, if you dislike anything let me know and I'll change it.

#appmenu-button .button-icon {

}

#appmenu-button {
  padding: 0 8px 0 0 !important;

}

}

#appmenu-button[open] {
  box-shadow: 0 0 4px 0 rgba(0,0,0,.35) inset !important;
}

#appmenu-button .button-text {
  visibility: collapse;
}

Very sexy! Am I able to change the image back to the long string so that I don't rely on your dropbox account?

Edit:

Oh, and if I decide I would like to put the text back in at some point in the future, what would I do?

Here's a screen in case anyone wants to see the results

Yes you can replace the url with the base64 value with no problems.

If you wish to show the text you would remove this:

#appmenu-button .button-text {
  visibility: collapse;
}

And possible add '-moz-margin-end: 4px;' to '#appmenu-button .button-icon' like so:

#appmenu-button .button-icon {
  -moz-margin-end: 4px;
}

Hmm. I loaded up the latest 32-bit hourly and no tabs in titlebar (even though the string is in about:config and set to "true"). The cake is a lie!

Sigh. Nevermind. Disregard everything. Apparently this is only for maximized windows. I thought that hit weeks ago. I wouldn't have known because I never maximize my window, there's no point in taking that much space up unless you're running on a 9" screen. Oh, well, guess I got my hopes up for nothing.

How can I disable the titlebar in tab-view? I have disabled the appmenu button and have no use for window's buttons in tab-view so I want that top area cleared...

with appmenu button disabled (which consist is showing the menubar) there are no tabs in titlebar!

I disabled appmenu button by creating a custom button with the same function and using CSS codes, not by activating the menubar. Anyway I was asking to remove the titlebar from tab-view so your post is not related to my request in any way, you got something wrong...

sorry! i misread!

Soapy, or anyone... What do you think it's going wrong?

Normal:

Pressing "Alt" - OK:

Pressing "Customize" - Not OK:

iby1Yq.png

I've Tabs in Title Bar of course ( the native code, not custom ). I suspect the soapy's code given above for AppMenuButton creates the problem... eh?

P.S. By the way, what's the name of that Menu to remove the white background?

This one makes about blank transparent:

#browser,
#content > tabbox > tabpanels {
  background-color: transparent !important;
}

#main-window[stylish-url="about:blank"] #content browser {
  opacity: 0 !important;
}

Sorry, bringing up an older style from a while ago

I have noticed that since FF 4, none of my Stylish scripts for about:blank work anymore.

This includes the script I have posted above that supposedly makes the page transparent. Am I doing something wrong?

That code should work for beta8 and prior. For b9pre+ use this

#appcontent,
#content > tabbox > tabpanels {
  background-color: transparent !important;
}

#main-window[stylish-url="about:blank"]:not([onclose="PrintUtils.exitPrintPreview(); return false;"]) #content browser{
opacity: 0 !important;

I'll look into the bug, but I'm currently not updating the script as I'm building a theme instead.

What theme are you using?

Mine which you can find here http://userstyles.org/styles/39290

    • Ninja Theory's new Hellblade game is action-focused and set in Purgatory by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Ninja Thery has been building its award-winning Hellblade series since 2017, delivering Senua's Sacrifice and Senua's Saga since then. Today at the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, the studio had a brand-new installment announcement featuring Senua again, but this time, she is in a version of purgatory, and the focus is on the action. Simply named Senua, this new entry is described as a "full-on action-adventure" experience, delivering an expanded focus on combat, puzzle-solving, and freedom of exploration. The developer says that it is keeping the same high production values and storytelling features of the previous games while giving what players have been asking for in the gameplay department. The entirety of Ninja Theory is now working on Senua, giving the project much more manpower than ever before, while also letting the team draw on its action roots from Devil May Cry and prior titles. However, the studio also confirmed that its previously announced Project Mara horror experience is no longer in development. Alongside snappier traversal moves, Senua will be able to take stealth and direct combat routes. She has access to her own sword, plus any enemy weapons as well, with dual wielding also being an option for most dropped melee swords, axes, and other weapons. Outside of melee combat, Senua will be able to use special abilities that let her alter the reality around her. The world is said to be about twice the size of Hellblade 2. While this won't be an open-world experience, the linear story will let players explore their surroundings further than before. The story of Senua will be set after the events of previous Hellblade titles, with our protagonist being stuck in her own version of Purgatory. The series' well-explored psychosis themes will return as well. "She’s trapped between life and death on a quest to reach the afterlife and be reunited with the ones that she’s loved and lost," adds the studio. "Her belief is that by healing the wounds of her life, she can find the peace that is the key that unlocks the gate to the afterlife." Senua is releasing on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2027.
    • Windows has had it, it's called camera frame server. I recall when it was first introduced in an early Windows 10 release it caused issues and there was a registry entry to disable it. Seems like they disabled it by default at some point. Windows 11 brought that toggle to the settings app (not just registry) a while ago.
    • You didn't like Mafia The Definite Edition? As a fan of the first when it came out, I liked that remake.
