Programmable Remote Control ...

Are there any remote controls that have say, 30 programmable buttons to remember favorite channels ?

I get tired of pushing 3, 4, even 5 buttons to get to a favorite channel on my HDTV.

[example: Comedy Channel is 76.3 ]

I'd like a remote that will remember the channels I watch most, and can push 1 button to get to them.

I'd like to be able to label the buttons too, with the channel ID.

Logitech Harmony 1100 Universal Remote seems to do this, but is enormously expensive.

Any of the harmony series will do that.

They may seem expensive, but ask any owner (myself included - I have a Harmony 1000) and they'll more than likely tell you how much they love it, and how they'd happily spend the same on it again.
