People sue Apple over 'overheating' iPads

Recommended Posts

There's other ways that an ipad isn't like an actual book either, Perhaps Apple can be sued for each way!

For example, if I get my book wet, I can just dry it out and continue reading it. I'm not sure that an ipad will allow me to do that.

I can put a book into a microwave and will still be able to read it afterwards, probably not so with an ipad.

I'm sure that there's other differences too.

Sitting outside and reading is not the same as purposely microwaving.

When will people learn that Apple lies to sell its products? Some of their statements border on absurdities.

The iPad can be read the same way as a book? LOL. Apparently not.

I'm not much of a reader myself but my partner has read a few books on the iPad.

Did he read them the same way? Probably better (resizing the text, reading in low light conditions, etc.)

Some people will just hate because they are haters :pinch:

I understand their complains, but you can't use any one's "hype" machine as a reason to buy a device. I won't buy one because here in AZ, it's over 95 or higher the entire summer - honestly 95 degrees as a cut off point is way too low, but I checked out the actual product before I bought one and realized I wouldn't be able to use it on my porch in the shade, forget that. I guess I'm stuck on my Dell Studio 14z a little longer. :)
