iPad Owners Are ?Selfish Elites.? Critics Are ?Independent Geeks

http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2010/07/ipad-owner-are-selfish-elites-critics-are-independent-geeks-says-study/?utm_source=Feedburner

It?s not exactly official, but should also surprise no one: According to a new study the psychological profile of iPad owners can be summed up as ?selfish elites? while have-not critics are ?independent geeks.?

Of course the ?haves? would probably call the ?have nots? ?cheap wannabes? to which the ?have nots? would retort: ?FANBOI!!?

Which is why we should stick to the science.

Consumer research firm MyType conducted the study, in which opinions of 20,000 people were analyzed between March and May. The firm?s conclusion was that iPad owners tend to be wealthy, sophisticated, highly educated and disproportionately interested in business and finance, while they scored terribly in the areas of altruism and kindness. In other words, ?selfish elites.?

It was just a joke. Why is everyone so touchy around here.

Sometimes I get the sense that people on this forum are like squirrels with a nut, nibbling away but looking up cautiously for trolls coming to steal it.

Don't worry, I laughed :p lol

Haha... I thought it was hilarious. Even better is your squirrel analogy... maybe we can get one of our more talented artists around here to come up with a comic for your scenario :)

Yes... Look at all the charity organizations, they are all setup by homeless and unemployed..... /sarcasm

Charity orgs, at least some, are really selfish. I used to work for a well known one. The company did great work in the eyes of the public, but they were very selfish and cut throat to their employees. Still are. I was messed over as well as 4 other people I know and I continue to hear stories.

Lol...I recently used a guys at work ipad. And it didnt impress me in the least. I asked him why he has it, since he is basically using it as a notepad, his reply, and I am not making this up..."I wanted to be the first in the area who has one!".

    • Regarding the AI photo, I LOVE AI in that regard, you ask it what you want and it gives you a lovey photo in under a minute, that would taken me an hour to make in photoshop and it wouldn't have looked nearly as good. 2 nights ago I spent a couple hours collaborating with AI.  I did not say write me an article. I would write one or 2  paragraphs, then I would ask it to clean it up so it read better but still keeps the information I was trying to convey.  Rinse repeat.
    • for AI content? 😶
