Gocom Share Posted July 31, 2010 ^ Is that Snow Leopard? f so, how did you changed the system font?^^ Most likely by replacing LucidaGrande.ttc. There is no method for actually changing system fonts. The method is replacing, and yes it makes all calls for Lucida Grande retuns wrong (aka the new) font. MacThemes Forum / Changing Snow Leopard System Font

I got that much and I don't mind replacing Lucida Grande completely but I found no explanation on how to port fonts, I have a .ttf I would love to have as my system font^^ Any idea how to make it into a proper .ttc? RFrost Share Posted August 1, 2010 A day early technically, but what the hell... Mostly boring, but I felt like showing off my new install of Ubuntu. Finally just dove into the deep end by replacing Windows. I doubt anyone will care, but the wallpaper is something I cobbled together a while ago. PM me if you want it. The thread I linked should explain. There is also link to another long thread on MacThemes which has already ported fonts, .app, videos and all that good stuff. The porting isn't a problem, but merging the fonts (so all the extra chars Lucida Grande has are there) and alignment.
