How did you achieve that thin and sexy taskbar? Is it exclusive to that VS?

I think part of it has to do with the VS, which, by the way you can see already comes with a somewhat thin taskbar: http://satukoro.deviantart.com/art/NOOTO-port-to-Win7-167936310

However, I edited the theme file using photoshop/restorator to make my own taskbar which blends in with the wallpaper which makes it look even thinner I guess. I also edited the theme file with Restorator and replaced all of the standard fonts with my own pixel font. I wonder if that affects the taskbar size too?
