Salt (2010)

Winable. The plot is somewhat intresting but at the end not really surprising if you have seen alot of these movies. Tomb Raider gave Jolie expirence on what to do in these movies and this one shows that she still should be (and do another) Lara Croft.

I agree. It's a shame they didn't want her for the 3rd (Which they are allegedly working on to some degree now). She was MADE for the role, and the biggest failing of those movies were the scripts, which were not up to par.

Salt I thought was good, but the ending kind of left me wanting a lot more. It felt like it should have gone on for at least another hour. LOL Good film though.

I agree. I see Salt 2 in the future.

I didn't say it was confusing, it's pretty straightforward, but it was just stupid. I don't know how enyone could believe that a modern intelligence agency would work the way that it has been pictured in the film. The plot is just pathetic IMHO.

Was it as bad as Tomb Raider where she could have just dropped one of the pieces in volcano which would have prevented the bad guys from putting it together but instead elected to hunt down and collect all the pieces?

I have a hard to believing that a woman as scrawny as Jolie can do action. It's like watching a starving Ethopian play an Olympic wrestler.

Actually the action sequences were quite good. My biggest issue with this movie is with the story,

I was already spoiled by the movie once I saw Liev Schreiber. You just know he's up to no good.

So, believe it.

It is a action movie.

Things like character development shouldnt really be important.

Agreed about the whole Tomb Raider thing as she was perfect for those roles.

as far as 'Salt' though it was just OK for me as it's nothing i would really care to watch again which hurts it in the long run. so it's not something i would recommend. i give Salt a 6/10.

p.s. to the people above giving it a 4/10 etc... i disagree there because i pretty much won't give a film less than a 5/10 unless it's boring in general. there is other exceptions but if i find something boring ill typically give it a 3-4/10 range and Salt was not boring for sure.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. As long as you don't take it too seriously I think its pretty good fun!

At first I thought there was going to be more into it, plot wise. Half way through it became obvious that you couldn't expect anything really interesting there, but the action sequences made it enjoyable anyway.
