I don't want/need a Windows Live profile

Hi there

Why do I have to have a Windows Live profile? Can't I just have an email address and msn, just like I signed up for? The problem I have is that I only look at my emails at work, which should be fine, until I suddenly notice that one of my contacts has decided to add a picture of their ass (or worse) or just basically a picture Id rather not have on my screen should a colleague walk by!!! I've looked all over the place to remove my profile, but Windows seem to think this is a good thing and that we need it (as if Facebook wasn't enough)!

Help please, this is annoying!!!

Yea I hate the whole network part of it too

I just painstakingly go through every single setting on the site and remove everyone from the network and share nothing

Still leaves the email contacts but removes all the social boll0cks

You can disable most of those social features in your account settings, and I'm pretty sure you can make your profile inaccessible for everyone.

Yea thats what I do, personally I think it should be disabled as default

If you only use it for email then download windows live mail and you do not have to worry about any of the social part any longer.
