This issue becomes very annoying when installing Ubuntu in VMware Fusion... Why does this always happen?! The login window keeps reverting back to the standard resolution as well...

Extremely frustrating.

It's not just with VMware. It happens in VirtualBox as well. I'm suspecting it's more of a Gnome/Xorg 1.9/combination of both problem.

uhm after few days testing i like it because of its speed but it still seems a trashy release. i can sync mp3 files via rhythmbox to my iphone 3g (like i could in 10.04), it transfers them but when trying to play it tries for about 1 sec. then skips every file i transfered that way on my iphone.

any1 knows a quick fix? im about to leave for the train in 1.5 hours and want to have some new tunes on my pod for it by then.

Yes, it's definitely stable and usable. I cannot wait to see how nicely the official Ubuntu 10.10 release runs on it. :) Especially because this is a beta and not the RC build and it runs great. :yes:

After releasing version 0.100.1 with a bunch of bug fixes and patches, Microsoft pushed version 0.100.2 to address two important issues with one of Command Palette Dock's features. With PowerToys 0.100.2, Microsoft fixed the performance meter displaying incorrect values and memory leaks, which are particularly unwanted things in the current situation with overpriced PC hardware. Here is the changelog: Reverted a Performance Monitor dock refresh change that forced item refreshes on every metric update Fixed a memory leak in the Performance Monitor dock extension by reusing stable network upload/download band items instead of creating new list items on each refresh For those unfamiliar, Command Palette Dock is a relatively new addition to PowerToys. It is a taskbar-like tool that you can keep on top of the screen to pin various useful widgets, commands, and more. It can display time, weather, your PC's performance metrics, and more.
