If you're talking about the 2700HGV it doesn't have dynamic DNS on anywhere on its web interface as far as I can tell (if you're talking about those dyndns.org type sites that you setup to send your dynamic IP to on reconnection).

It has 4 ethernet ports

I know that there are several types but I am guessing you mean the more often seen 2wire router?

and I think it does support some type of DynDNS service somewhere in the advanced section of the interface, but its been a long time since I used one of these

Not sure of the model as I'm doing a favour for a friend and can't contact him at the moment. Thanks for help though.

Should do, If not just get the Windows Mac or Linux client whatever your using. However doesn't the Business Broadband come with 5 Static IP's anyway? Just register a domain and then point them towards that . . . they wont change.

Don't want to have to leave a workstation on really. But I didn't know it came with static IP's so thanks for that.

It does if you paid the extra for it, there are three types that spring to mind immediately

Business with dynamic IP

Business with single static IP

Business with 5 Static IP

It only costs like ?5 a month to get a static IP's so maybe thats a better offer?
