i've had those popups for a long time. it's just a shortcut to your friend's connections. sometimes i'll see a face i like and click on it to see who they are ;)

Add this to your Adblock as a blocking rule:

facebook.com##DIV.stage

You will still see the small arrow but it's not that intrusive and blocks the popup.

You're welcome. You can also hide the little arrow but it makes the icons besides things like welcome, news feed, messages, events, friends, 'x' has changed their profile picture etc dissapear but if you want that rule I'll post it.

Scratch that, add this as a blocking rule also, this should hide the little arrow part: |http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/zA4IG/hash/*
