Is it going to be the same client? I assume so, but that one states its for the Closed Beta....meh, downloading anyway, might as well put my bandwidth to use. :p

Didn't mention it earlier, but I did get the key and gave one of my two to the OP, if my friend doesn't want it or has one of his own, then my second key will go to the OP.

Guys, please check back tomorrow to see which server we are playing on! We should start a guild (or something similar) in game, and assume everyone on the list get on, it's a pretty sizeable organization! haha.

What should we name it? Just Neowin?

yes, anything else will probably just sound stupid.

sounds good. anyone have a vent we can use?

i have one but it's only 10 man.

Woohoo!!! Everybody on the list got a key! Good work everyone! For those of you who are still red (see OP), please send at least a key back, because I'm sure more people will come asking for one when the early access servers launch tomorrow!

@treemonster I have a Ventrillo server that should hold 25 people...can we use an alternative service that would support more people for free?

A 50-person Ventrillo server is $20 per month. Since I already pay $5 per month for a 15 people server, I can chip in another $5, so do I have 2 other people that are willing to chip in? We can be admins :D

Just upgraded my server to 25 man. I doubt we'll have 50 people online at the same time anyway. Will post vent info along with game info tomorrow when the beta starts! Can't wait!

@Jigoku, Cyberkiller Key sent!

@Sethos Thanks! I'm glad I can help out the community. Slow day at work anyway :p

@vip We'll see how many people here will be playing. Before then, hopefully my 25 man Vent would be sufficient.

Edit: Will check back later tonight for more key requests.

I wouldn't go about purchasing a huge teamspeak/vent server until this game gets out of beta and more can tell if they will actually play it. As of right now, we are all going off of video hype, and have yet to play it :p But lets hope this is one game we all enjoy.

    • You're right that it does not follow the plain meaning of the word, but in this context, it is a legal term defined in 49 U.S.C. Kind of how "wire fraud" laws apply even if a physical wire was not used. Given that it is codified in law, and it isn't just automotive journalists that don't understand evolving technology, I highly doubt congress would change a well understood term just because technology makes the term slightly less actuate.
    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn weapons and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
