Ok so East is running great, so lets officially call it East server.. Everyone roll east, hop in the Mumble server posted in the first post and add everyone to friends you see also listed in the first post and lets get our game on.

I modded the list and added my in-game name :shiftyninja:

However, I don't want to hijack your post Bei337, so I would suggest adding a notice that this is North America only and they IP block other regions.

Interesting... I haven't had an issue with internet lag, but my

graphics are definitely not fluid yet. I have a pretty damn nice

machine, too. Ack.

No internet lag here either, no visual lag either for me, and I'm only running it on a laptop....its a nice laptop though, has an i5 M520, with a 5650 Mobility GPU and 4GB of ram, running it on the "Normal" setting (5 of 8), not the highest but the game looks great and runs great for me.

As for combat... AWESOME. I broke a barrel, picked up the lid

which is like the size of a small rug, and smashed the baddie

over the head with it. I also kicked a guy off the tower in the

prelude. Oh yea!

I know......combat is so fun, in the prelude part, when you have to carry the woman, I just kicked the guys off the tower and what not instead of putting her down to fight. Second boss fight though, the guy smashed me into a pillar which broke my helmet and broke the pillar into many large pieces, so I picked up a piece and smashed it over his head. The combat in this game is just better than any other I have played in recent times. Its like arcade-style fighter game combat but in a 3D world and what not.

Also, I found an option that, when disabled, reverts the combat from attack where camera is pointing to attack in character direction (regardless of camera direction) like I wanted awhile back. Oddly enough, after playing with that setting changed, I found myself turning it back on to attack in camera direction. The way mobs come at you, you don't have precise enough attack angles when using WASD to attack, the mouse lets you precisely target specific areas around your character. But, the option is there if anyone wants to try it for themselves (Options -> Controls tab -> Advanced Settings -> Attack in the direction of the camera).

Haha, sneaky sneaky dev :p

I've updated the post to reflect the IP block policy. We are firm on the EAST server, so everyone who wish to play with us please create(or recreate) a character on that server and please don't forget to post your in game name here!

Additional keys are sent.

I had the client downloaded and finally gave it a go last night but both the servers were down :(

How's everyone else getting on ingame? I know a few of you have been playing it

There was a 3-hour maintenance session noted on their main page scheduled to begin about 22 minutes before you post. So you just picked the wrong time to try to play is all.

First Impressions: Awesome.

However, yes the combat isn't your typical fighting, however it's not hard either. I picked the girl with the shield, they talk about hard to control. I literally run around right clicking, left clicking and hitting E then right click. I run out of stamina but Im usually behind the monster and not getting hit anyways.

I find the game quite easy at the early levels. The first set of battles give you 60 minutes to complete, the groups I was in would do them in less than 10 minutes (Unless we lagged out).

What is fun to do, is have monsters kill each other, I had a boss destroy one of it's own guards. The boss wound up to hit, I ran past with a guard chasing me and the boss smoked the guard.

All in all though, Im hooked for the time being.

I agree...i wasn't expecting a whole lot when I went into this but I must admit, it's a lot of fun so far.

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistake—ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the “nuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
