Bypass Windows Logo Testing?

Recommended Posts

Ok, I would assume directX9.0b for Windows 2003 has passed Windows Logo testing for Windows 2003.

Everytime I try to install DirectX 9.0b for W2k3, it says

"The software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing

to verify its compatibility with this version of Windows:

The software will not be installed"

Is there a way to disable this checking of windows logo testing??

make sure your "cryptographic services" service is running.

click start > run > services.msc > set "cryptographic services" service to automatic.

  • 5 years later...

I'm having exactly the same problem when trying to install DX9.c... I have enabled Cryptographic services: its status is 'started' and 'automatic' yet still the same message: '...is not compatible with windows logo testing..etc..'

I do not even have the option to continue with installation anyway, and when i try and access driver signing in the services>hardware tab it does not let me. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received as I'm getting pretty frustrated! :-)

Cheers
