How can I view the new version of Twitter with IE9 Beta? I click on "Try it now!" and nothing happens.

If you activate the preview using another browser, it should be your default view in all browsers

I took it off my laptop last night. The biggest issue I was having was that I would open a new tab or right click a link and open it in a new tab and the tab name would be blank as well as the page. No matter how long I left it there, it was blank. It started out that way for a while and sometimes closing IE and reopening it would fix it, but a reboot always did it. It got worse after I installed the Win 7 SP1 RC.

Anyone read about the trick to get the new PP6 engine to work with the beta UI? It seems they've made it even faster with PP6 yet again, good stuff.

I'll wait until they release the RC. By the way they made the blog post sound, they won't release a Beta 2.

And when they're going to release the RC?

They said final well be early 2011 so RC can't be too far away, maybe even later in Nov?

PP6 with beta UI is BIG improvment over public beta engine... this way some stuff not working like options, downloading, probably printing but you get PP6 engine with basic UI and it seems more stable and some pages i had issues before where fixed!

Cant wait for RC and later for RTW! (writing this from PP6 with beta UI)

That's good to know, thanks for the info after trying it out.

ive noticed sometimes images will stop loading. relaunching the browser fixes it. little annoying.

I get this also.

ALso Flash 10.2 has crashing issues in IE9. Probably due to IE9 + beta flash + HP Switchable graphics drivers though

I'm running the beta with the Windows 7 SP1 RC just fine (it is not included with the RC in any way/shape/form).

Practically every issue I have had with Nine has been related to either Flash (and occurs with other browsers) or is fixable with Compatibility Mode.

By the way, the beta of Nine and the SP1 RC can be installed in either order (in my case, I installed the SP1 RC from an ISO image first).

So far, I have found Nine to be Quite Usable; besides, if I want to dress it up, that's what browser-skinning (WindowBlinds 7.2 will skin Nine as well as earlier versions) is for.
