NikBrooks
Just started up my 360 to find out it will no longer work in HD? Someone tell me Im going crazy and I can fix it? Can't be bothered with sending it away AGAIN!
AltecXP
have you checked all the settings in the control settings?
Tharp Daddy
On the AV cord that plugs into the xbox there is a little switch that toggles between SD and HD, make sure it's on HD mode.
Cupcakes
After you do what Ruran said.. If that still doesn't allow you to use HD, try using another A/V cord if at all possible.
NikBrooks
Yeah, everythings exactly how I left it from playing in HD a few nights ago. Just now its decided not to work. Any other ideas?

neoadorable
weird, never heard of this kind of problem. i'd also suggest another cable, if that doesn't work, another TV. and you didn't say if the settings were all OK. it shouldn't be a console hardware issue, if the GPU craps out you'll get the mesh/grid and green/orange tint, not just lower resolution! Austen Boshtin
Try reseting your display settings. I had this same issue a while back. Turn on the console using the pad, then as soon as the pad connects to the console hold both right trigger and Y button until the console resets
etempest
Did you switch cables (to go back to SD?) Maybe the cable is going bad?
Aergan
Are you using the AV Multi-out or HDMI? The AV-Multi out block sometimes just needs to be unplugged and plugged back in whilst the console is switched on, the Xbox will restart automatically and reset/scan video modes supported.
