UFC 126 - Franklin vs Griffin / Belfort vs Silva

It was a very good PPV overall. The undercard compensated for some boring fights in the main card. Comments in Bold:

* Middleweight Championship bout: Anderson Silva © vs. Vitor Belfort: JESUS! That kick will take it's place in heaven right next to Petis's kick. Came out of nowhere and saved a fight that was starting to look like Silva vs Maia 2 (at least in the first minutes). Now it's up to GSP to beat Shields and Dana White to screw over Okami for the Fight of the Century to happen.

* Light Heavyweight bout: Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin Balanced, engaging fight. Both fighters looked pretty good. But they are pretty distant from the immediate title picture.

* Welterweight bout: Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha Some judge scored this 30-27 for Rocha. HOW!? Ellenberger finally fought after being bounced around but he struggled to do damage to Rocha and only won because Rocha's stand-up was non-existant and he didn't engage at all when he had the upper hand. Fitch would have smashed him to bits and pieces. Should get his act together because as he is, he doesn't have a shot even at contendership in the WW division.

* Light Heavyweight bout: Jon Jones vs. Ryan Bader Well, wow. The fight wasn't balanced at all. Bader was handled almost easily by Jones. I was expecting some balanced stand-up (didn't happen) but the ground exchanges were all one-sided. Jones almost submited Bader a couple of time and finished him with ease. I hope Shogun is up to the challenge and gives him a great fight.

* Bantamweight bout: Miguel Torres vs. Antonio Banuelos First fight in the UFC, first fight in the PPV and they do that? Banuelos lacked any sense of urgency even when he was losing all 3 rounds. Pretty boring fight, sorry, staring competition. Wouldn't surprise me if Banuelos got cut after that.

Undercard

* Featherweight bout: Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa Haven't watched.

* Lightweight bout: Paul Taylor vs. Gabe Ruediger Great fight. Paul Taylor probably saved his job with that KO.

* Bantamweight bout: Norifumi Yamamoto vs. Demetrious Johnson Seems like a recurring theme. UFC picks up some B-league organization champion or major star, he shows up and loses his first fight. Won't be cut like McKee because the BW division needs some appeal for the Asian crowds.

* Light Heavyweight bout: Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero Haven't watched.

* Welterweight bout: Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson Haven't watched.

* Lightweight bout: Donald Cerrone vs. Paul Kelly Another good fight in the prelims. Cerrone starts his UFC career nicely.

Watched the Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa fight. Mendes has great potential as a FW. Good striking, good wrestling, Omigawa got beaten down with elbows and strikes. Probably has one more fight between him and Jos? Aldo (or Hominick lol).

Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero: Kingsbury is ripped as hell for a 205 fighter. As soon as the first knee hit, the fight was over. You can see Romero curl up and Kyle kept on smashin him.

    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
