FX 5600 (not ultra) vs ati 9600 pro

Hello I am looking to buy a new video card and due to my budget it has been toned down to these two choices. So which is a better buy? Pros and cons of each? I've read every review on both of these cards but I find it very hard to make a decision so I wanted to ask your opinions on these two cards so please help me out :rolleyes:

By the way what's the difference between a 5600 and a 5600 ultra? Also is it wise to buy an ATI card that's not made from ATI? (example Gigabyte or ASUS)

One of my other pc's have a sapphire radeon 9600PRO and it works great its no 9800PRO though :p

Nvidia all the way... ATI just doesn't do it for me anymore...

Although, I will say that the Geforce FX 5600 is a poor choice... especially when the Geforce 4 TI 4200 can own its ass in almost every test...

I would say go with ATI on this one unless you have the cash to blow... in that case, I would go 5900 Ultra... I did and it kicks ATI's ass...

ATi Radeon 9600 Pro by miles. I actually had a FX5600 in my pc till last week. Not impressed is all I really "want" to say. (N)
