The producer of Breakout Kings have revealed more details about the return of T-Bag (Robert Knepper).

The character previously featured in Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora's Fox series Prison Break and will appear in multiple episodes of their new A&E drama.

"He's going to break out of Fox River, and the Breakout Kings are going to go after him," Santora told the New York Times. "He's just the baddest of bad guys, and if you want a show with stakes, take T-Bag."

He added: "Robert Knepper is a great actor. He didn't know what the storyline was going to be when we approached him, and his only request was that T-Bag not be killed."

Santora also confirmed that the T-Bag character will be "making an appearance very early" in the show's first season.

Knepper previously admitted that it had felt "surreal" to revive his character for the new episodes.

Breakout Kings will premiere on March 6 at 10pm on A&E.

Could Breakout Kings become a breakout hit for A&E?

The show delivered 2.8 million viewers for its premiere episode on Sunday night, along with 1.5 million adults 18-49. That?s the best opening number yet in the demo for an original drama series on the network, up 25 percent from The Glades last year.

We belive the other Prison Break actor mentioned is Frank Grillo who played Nick Savrinn in Prison Break since he said he filmed a role in Breakout Kings a while back.

Good second episode, dunno how they are going to put T-bag in it thou, unless he is a runner. As there is no way they would ever release him nor would any amount of time of his sentence matter as he must be in for at least a double life sentence.

loving breakout kings alot, began watching prison break again for the 5th time, on season two now, just been and brought the game for the 2nd time.....

P.S I want prison break back... i think i would cry if it was brought back lol

I enjoyed Prison Break Seasons 1-3, 4 was just kinda out there.

I'm glad to see T-Bag back, I kinda hope he doesn't get caught. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing other Prison Break characters come back as guest stars.

Although it sucks they killed off Michael Scofield in the movie, I would love to see his character come back. I suppose there are always flashbacks/dream sequences...

I don't understand why they wrote off the Philomena Rotchcliffer character so early on and replaced her with the new girl. Why not just put her in from Episode 1?

not great so I was informed on Twitter the other week...not sure where he got that from but I think its alright.

A&E have some good shows...The Glades being one of them.

I like this show. It's kind of like Leverage but with violence. It's a shame that Nicole Steinwedell didn't make it past the pilot. She was HOT (and I also liked her a lot in The Unit).
