He was clearly told to sell the living #### out of Cummings before the fight, didnt work - He looked pretty scrappy, and to even suggest that win was of any worth  to DC is an absolute joke, embarrassing.

With his physique, he looked like a bargain bin James Thompson. And performed the same job function.

Nevada State Athletic Commission bans TRT, urges fellow athletic commissions to follow

A bold move certainly, but nothing special (it's a single AC and many states have totally incompetent ones) but...

Dana White says UFC will no longer allow TRT, 'couldn't wait for that garbage to go away'

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye.

I expect to see Frank Mir, Dan Henderson, Bigfoot Silva and many others announcing their retirement or moving to ONE FC or Bellator in the coming weeks.

The TUF China Finale is tomorrow and... it's a completely meh card, despite some fun fights.

Main card (UFC Fight Pass)
Dong Hyun Kim (171) vs. John Hathaway (171)
Sai Wang (170) vs. Lipeng Zhang (170)
Matt Mitrione (260) vs. Shawn Jordan (261)
Hatsu Hioki (146) vs. Ivan Menjivar (146)

Undercard (UFC Fight Pass at 5:45 a.m.)
Kazuki Tokudome (155) vs. Yui Chul Nam (154)
Nam Phan (136) vs. Vaughan Lee (136)
Albert Cheng (170) vs. Anying Wang (171)
Jumabieke Tuerxum (145) vs. Mark Eddiva (145)

Mitrione vs Jordan should be fun, albeit short. Phan vs Lee should be interesting as well. Kim shouldn't have any trouble with Hathaway, but it can turn into a long 5 round grinding affair.

Rampage still thinking he's relevant is the funniest MMA thing I ever saw. However, King Mo's fight was still laughable.

Both fights were terrible. Zayats gassed like a punctured balloon but Lawal had nothing for him. His takedowns were stuffed easily and he couldn't generate any offense unless Zayats stayed still. And 30-27 on the cards? What?

As for Rampage, M'Pumbu's record is a win over a very young Stefan Struve and a steady diet of M-1 and Bellator cans. He's very tall for his weight but has to idea how to use it. Any other fighter would've kicked Rampage's legs into oblivion before he could close the distance. I don't have the slightest idea on how Bellator will move on after Rampage fights Lawal. Bonus points if it's a 5 round gassfest and then Attila Vegh comes in and breaks the "winner" in half.

Today! (No one cares!)

Fight Pass main card:

Alexander Gustafsson (204) vs. Jimi Manuwa (205) - Light heavyweight
Michael Johnson (155) vs. Melvin Guillard (156) - Lightweight
Brad Pickett (125) vs. Neil Seery (125) - Flyweight
Gunnar Nelson (170) vs. Omari Akhmedov (170) - Welterweight

Fight Pass preliminary card:

Cyrille Diabate (205) vs. Ilir Latifi (205) - Light heavyweight
Luke Barnatt (186) vs. Mats Nilsson (184) - Middleweight
Bradley Scott (186) vs. Claudio Henrique da Silva (185) - Middleweight
David Grant (136) vs. Roland Delorme (134) - Bantamweight
Igor Araujo (171) vs. Danny Mitchell (170) - Welterweight
Phil Harris (125) vs. Louis Gaudinot (126) - Flyweight

Utterly ridiculous card that puts a true contender headlining a Fight Pass event and buries two possible Flyweight contenders, one of them to the deepest depths of the card.

UFC 171 is this weekend. Strongest card of the year so far, stacked to the gills.

Hendricks made 170 on his second try. This card was pretty close to getting tanked by 1,5lbs. This is going to be a great night of fights!

Holly Holm is a monster, hope she gets snapped up by UFC soon, bit of a challenge for Rousey.

Cant wait for tonight, STACKED!!

Lawler for the belt ;)

She's a fun action fight, but let's not kid ourselves. She has nothing for Ronda on the ground and 1st round armbar would be the most likely outcome.

As for tonight, I'll admit I was concerned when Hendricks hit 171.5 on the first try. Maybe something was off with the scale at their hotel. He made 170 in the end so the title fight is on. Would I like Lawler to win? Sure. Will he? I don't think so.

Why Lawler? Because

lawler.gif

Good night of fights, gutted Lawler didnt win - Hendricks did well though to stay in it he was noticeably wobbled on at least 2 occasions..

Lawler somehow lacked clutch instinct. He was tagging Hendricks easily, Hendricks' eye was pretty much shut. He could've put Hendricks down for the count in the 4th had he gone all out and put himself on the line. He chose the "safe" path of winning by decision and lost by a round.

It was a good night of fights but some moments were ridiculous. There was a judge that kept messing up the scorecards by either giving 29-28's where 30-27 should've been and vice-versa. Lombard looked ridiculous. The only thing more ridiculous than him was Jake Shields who could've won that fight easily had he, well, tried to fight or something. Lombard was so scared of gassing himself out that he psyched himself out. Luckily, he was fighting Shields. Put him in against Ellenberger and if the fights lasts longer than 2 minutes, he's getting KTFO. Jessica Andrade won a gift decision by the Leonard Garcia criteria. She was moving forward but getting tagged in the face every time. Judging just keeps getting worse

UFC star Ronda Rousey open to pro wrestling but doubtful it ever happens

"It's fun, it's cool. We're all big fans in the house and the 'Rowdy' in my name comes from 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. I came into the gym and she was just leaving. And I just walked in; I hadn't even warmed up, that was the first thing I did that day, by the way. She kept talking about it, she was like 'oh we should do quick little pro wrestling spots'. Because I like making up little fight scenes and all this stuff all the time. So we just made up that one little clip and we think we're going to just keep elaborating on it as like a Four Horsewomen storyline of how the argument started. That would probably be like I would need to go to the bathroom and she was in there and told me to go screw myself and then I end up jumping her in the gym. It's more like, It's just for fun for us right now. Professionally, who knows? Me and all the girls are huge fans. If they were all down to do something, I'd probably be happy to jump in with them. But I have the most hectic schedule ever with the fights and the movies right now and adding a whole other career on top of that is a tall order."

    • I am one of the first people to use the DXVK technology. In the channel below you can see some videos that I have made using this technology, including Assassin's Creed Odyssey. https://www.youtube.com/@nahum7995/videos Assassin's Creed Odyssey experienced several bugs and technical issues during its first months after release. It launched with its own fair share of funny but frustrating glitches. I ran it on DXVK 9 days after its release and I played it for many hours but didn't see a single significant bug on Linux. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is widely celebrated for pushing the franchise in bold new directions and specifically for nailing several elements better than any other title in the AC series: Player Choice & Branching Narrative, The Mercenary & Cultist System, Mythological Integration, Overpowered Combat Abilities, Open World Exploration But what I'm trying to point out is that this game wasn't quite playable on most windows systems, until a few months after its release when most of the bugs were fixed. However, on Linux it ran completely flawless from day one, although DXVK had seen little development and refinement at the time. What do you think the situation will be in 2026 now that most bugs and glitches of DXVK have been completely eliminated? This is information from Google about these situations that I am quoting. In many cases, using DXVK (a translation layer that converts DirectX 9, 10, or 11 into Vulkan) can result in more stable frame times and higher performance than native Windows rendering. This happens primarily by bypassing driver overhead and multithreading draw calls that were previously restricted to a single CPU core. Older APIs (like DirectX 9 and 11) are largely single-threaded on the CPU side. DXVK translates these calls to Vulkan, which is highly multi-threaded. This reduces CPU-bound stuttering on weaker processors. In certain cases, GPU manufacturers (especially AMD) have significantly better and more modern Vulkan drivers than they do for legacy DirectX. Vulkan gives developers—and in this case, the translation layer—closer control over how resources are held in VRAM. This can prevent micro-stutters and sudden frame drops during chaotic gameplay. Yes, certain games, particularly older DirectX 9 to 11 titles, can run with fewer crashes on DXVK than on native Windows. By intercepting DirectX draw calls and translating them into the modern, highly efficient Vulkan API, DXVK bypasses the limitations and poor driver support that cause instability in aging game engines. PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 can be easily and perfectly emulated on Linux. In fact, modern Linux emulators offer high-performance upscaling, widescreen patches, and automatic controller mapping out of the box.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 PlayStation 1/2/3 games look drastically better on Linux thanks to resolution upscaling. Furthermore, it is also a fact that you cannot play many fun games on Windows either, isn't it? - The Nintendo Switch has an extensive library of exclusive games. - PlayStation has an extensive library of exclusive games - Android has "mobile-exclusive" games, meaning they are exclusive to mobile devices (iOS and Android) and aren't available on PC or consoles. And finally, it is also the case that in the next five years there will be games that millions of people will say you absolutely must play and that they want to play this specific game that released a few days ago. However, the other side of this story is that currently, absolutely no one cares that they cannot play these upcoming games right now.

    • I found that stability back then was really down to the motherboard manufacturer. Back then i stuck with Microstar motherboards and VIA chipsets as they were ultra reliable. Most stuff was done with jumpers and left little room for user created problems 👍
