ramik
So I installed it, and wanted to try the Multiparty Video Conference, but it asks to accept the 28 days beta trial period, I accepted and it really works. but what does they mean by Trial ?? is the Video Conference a premium feature that needs to be paid? i can find no info about this anywhere... Afaik yes you need to pay for it after the beta :( And has anyone else have problems with automatic microphone adjustments since Skype 5.x? I have two mates I skype daily with, one of them has his TV always running in the background. No problem prior Skype 5.x but now, whenever he says nothing for a while, Skype focuses on his TV and it gets really loud. Automatic voice control is unticked in Skype, AVG is set to 0 in his shared.xml and the DC Offset correction is turned off on his Windows 7. His soundcard is a Reaktek HD onboard chip if that helps anything. Its like you said, it seems like Skype is focusing on something in the background when it cant hear you talk.
