^ I am confused, even after some googling, is christwire.org real? or just really amusing, because going to the main page seems plausibly real.

I'm 95% sure that site is basically like The Onion, but aimed at Westboro Baptist types.

made a new caster lastnight .... conj/destruction = OP lol

all ready lvl 10 in just a few hours

That will change......spellcasters tend to get weaker and weaker starting at around lvl 25-30 (compared to melee classes). I personally am going to wait to play a spellcaster until the construction kit comes out and we get decent mods that fix casters.

friend just showed me the werewolf perk after companions missions :)

You actually get werewolf after like 4 or so companion quests, definitely easy to pick up whenever you want and with any character.....I personally think werewolf has better perks with next to no drawback compared to vampire, even if you can only use werewolf once a day (until you get a certain ring, at least).

Another advantage of having the werewolf perk is that you don't contract any diseases :) . Only disadvantage, if at all you can call it one, you don't get well rested perk after sleeping. but seriously, who cares?

I found Barbas today. He can single handedly clear fortresses and caverns. I am highly anticipating his battle with a dragon :D

It helps that Barbas is immortal, but there's a certain quest line you can't do if you want to keep him (at least that's the way I understand what I read about him), but as easily as companions break your stealth cover, or get in your way, he's still not worth it. :p

As for werewolf, that's mainly why I got it, disease immunity, I didn't even know about the rested bonus before taking it, but I don't care about it. And as I said earlier there is a ring that when equipped lets you turn into a werewolf, it is unequipped like all other gear when it ends, but re-equipping it lets you do it again, completely removing the once per day "disadvantage".

I've somehow failed the Skooma quest in Riften, I think bandits must have killed Wojeeta, the Argonian skoomahead you need to hand a health potion before work.

Is there any way I can still get the house in Riften?! I love it there.

Tried speaking to Riften jarl but there's no option to tell her about any skooma dealers, and I've heard this quest is kind of integral to gaining permission to buy the house.

Can't believe how decent this plays on 2011 13" MBP w/ Intel 3000 HD. I bit the bullet after reading several other users' experiences. Pretty impressed. My main game is still on 360 but I know I'll want to enjoy the mods as well. The only time so far I really have an issue is in the Tab screen - for some reason the mouse gets "sticky".

I decided to start a new game today, a bit of a weird mix. Something Ive never tried before.

High Elf in Heavy armor, with no physical weapons/shields... just magic, but attempting to use conjuration as a primary skill. It's pretty fun so far. Raise undead is a quick way to level up! I got from 1 to 7 in the space of 15 minutes! I'm enjoying it anyways.

I never touched High Elf in TES games.. just didn't like the snobbery of their characters. Now they've been brought down a peg or two in Skyrim, I can give them a go. xD

Yeah, the thing runs like a champ with my 320M MBP. 'Course, the draw distance could be better, I usually hear the dramatic music before I see the snow leopard that's going to kill me, which is kind of a PITA when you're trying to play a sneaky character.

Just found

chillrend

.. is it the best longsword in the game?

Dawnbreaker is better in my opinion. It's the reward of a daedric shrine. the most I will tell you is that it's on the northern part of the map, in the mountains.

I am pretty ****ed because I lost Chillrend to a glitch when I put it on display in my house.

Someone on Fitocracy told me they went Illusion/Conjurer, going invisible and summoning Daedra on their enemies watching them stomp the crap out of everything. Sounded interesting to say the least lol!

Planning on being a Breton mage next play through. Maybe going vampire just for a different playstyle, since I plan on going werewolf with my current character. Planning on being a douche bag, joining the storm cloaks and slaughtering the innocent. :p

LOL haven't had that experience...yet. I can say that the draw distance when it comes to environment is noticeable better than 360 though. Have you tried changing anything in the advanced settings or ini file?

I always find it startling when I am sneaking, sneaking, getting ready for the backstab, and my follower starts coughing! Take a damned lozenge Mjoll the Lioness! She is my favorite follower, but she does talk at odd times, usually when I am in the middle of getting a quest and I can't hear what the quest giver is saying. But here accent is so cute I'll keep her around.

For me it's a toss-up between Dawnbreaker and Dragonsbane. It's always fun to see a bandit fly across the room after a finishing blow with Dragonsbane. :p

My follower Benor or whatever, always says "that's...that's...wow!" when we go into a big cave or dungeon. :D doesn't usually talk otherwise.

I finally tried this game on PC. and i didnt get far. The controls are horrible.

I have to rebind them or something to make the game more playable. I couldn't find a mouse sensitivity setting anywhere either, so i have to look around more for that.

if i cant fix the controls then i probably wont even bother with it. the controls are that terrible.

WASD is terrible?

You can remap the keys and there is a mouse sensitivity setting.

I also struggled with the mouse, and the terrible FOV.

I normally go with the Huntress. I have also married her which means I am able to get some money out of her for the story while being together. I have also noticed her yawning in front of conjurers and bandits.

I finally got this and it's probably one of the best games I have ever played. :D

There are a few annoyances like the weird glitchy shadows that shift every few seconds but hopefully a patch will fix things like that.

I've been playing it 3rd person view mostly, which makes it a bit harder to select things on screen. In first person view it just feels like my face is smashed up against the screen, not sure how to describe it. Just feels too close and confined. Maybe changing the FOV would help.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 changelog: Uses electron 42.4.1 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.4. • Microsoft will soon allow some users to block Copilot from analyzing their Office files by Usama Jawad Microsoft Purview is a pretty useful data governance, security, and management service that allows customers to gain enhanced visibility and control over their content. It's meant for commercial customers, such as organizations that are storing data at scale. As AI continues to expand and infiltrate every corner of a firm, many are a bit conscious about the technology gaining access to their confidential data. Microsoft is now making a configuration change that will allow such customers to rest easy. Right now, users within an organization have the option to apply Purview sensitivity labels (when available) to secure certain files and label them as such. For example, if you apply the "Confidential" label on an Excel file, the file will be encrypted, and a "confidential" watermark will be applied to it. So, if this file is shared with anyone, they are aware that its access is supposed to be restricted. Up until now, Microsoft was allowing some connected experiences, like its AI services, to analyze files, regardless of their sensitivity label. This is of major concern to most organizations, as a recent example highlighted how confidential emails with data loss prevention (DLP) policies like privacy labels were being uploaded to Copilot for analysis. As such, Microsoft is updating an existing Purview data label sensitivity setting that prevents "some connected experiences that analyze content", from being blocked completely from doing this. The label isn't changing, but the blocking is now being enforced across all connected services (including Copilot and other AI tools), and now extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files with the label applied already will get this enhancement automatically too once it becomes available. Microsoft has urged IT admins to inform their respective helpdesk and compliance teams, update internal documentation, and review sensitivity labels to ensure that they meet their respective compliance needs. This change is tagged as MC1297982 in the Message Center. General availability is scheduled to begin in a phased manner soon and will complete by the end of next month. That said, it is important to note that this only applies to commercial customers who have a license that allows them to use Purview.
