WikiLeaks.org suffers 2nd DDoS - 10Gbps!

Recommended Posts

Wikileaks should be destroy by the best hackers in the world so they can delete and **** all these data that is affecting the integrity of our army around the world.

Best hackers around the world. I Lol'd. Someone's been watching too many films.

It seems WikiLeaks is exposing the US's true feelings of the rest of the world!!!

On the subject of this topic, who is DDoS'ing the site?

Lot's of different people, I've seen a few 4chan posts (I guess) made by Americans proposing that everyone point the ion cannon their way. I guess other sites probably have similar threads.

4chan won't be involved, but if we find out who did it with an IP address, I bet 4chan would help in take them down via DDoS :p

Hint: DISTRIBUTED denial of service.

(There is no IP address to find.)

Part of the problem that the "anti-US" posters face is that the assumption is that those troops ARE carrying out official policy. We don't claim that our troops are perfect (they are human, and by and large we SHOULD know better). We merely state that such inhumane treatment is not (in any way, shape, or form) normal policy of the United States (and it isn't, by and large). There are aberrations (enhanced-interrogation techniques, Manzanar, Andersonville, etc.); however, by and large they are NOT the rule.

The other part of the issue is that, for some nations, what we regard as aberrations ARE official policy for some nations (not just adversaries, but even nations that are allies, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Israel).

However, even when they are NOT official policy, no nation is immune to having such aberrations happen. (If you think that's the case, you are deluding yourself.)

One thing that I can say is that the United States is a lot better at policing itself when such aberrations are uncovered than are others - where WE get called on the carpet is that such aberrations happen at all.

The United States is, by and large, expected to be perfect.

We aren't, and don't claim to be.

Could NOT have said it better myself. People across the pond must have the impression we are perfect. They have no problem asking us to help and to deal with Iran and what not but i know not one of them would lift a finger without the support or force of the US behind them. England, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, go ahead and attack Iran and their nuclear facilities...we'll sit here and watch while you fail. Just because theres a few instances where people have done unspeakable things there are 10,000 more who give their all, and do good deeds like rebuilding a school, earning the trust of a local tribesman, etc. To think that every man serving would go out and rape a civilians wife or something overseas is just being stupid.

I never claimed that other countries are immune from this, it's just that the bulk of the flak on this is coming from the US because they can't hack their dirty linen being aired in public.

Really? So why is so much of this being covered up? Why was the "Collateral murder" incident covered up? Why is it that the crew of the USS vincennes rather than being treated with the revulsion that they deserved for shooting down a civilian airliner and claiming the lives of 290 innocent Iranians, got MEDALS of honor for "courage under fire"?

The US armed services are not at all good at policing their misdeeds, they are every bit as bad as the Russians for coverups.

Who's stuff would you rather look at in terms of dirty laundry... America the superpower... or oh..say..France, England, Germany... shadows of their former empires....when you sit on top of the world you become the most hated. It's not that we cant hack our dirty laundry being out there cause right now there isn't a lot of damning things yet...theres still some 200,000 documents and what not so theres no telling what this 22 yr old traitor gave him.

Is no one worried about World War 2.5 starting with these leaks? :s

The latest leaks could be a pretext to increase Internet censorship, and control better what informations are circulating.

These leaks might even be planned, to justify a decrease in freedom.

Then, if there's a new war, disinformation will be more efficient.

Nonsense, it's the behaviour of the US that makes them the most hated. Warmongering, and always poking their noses into the affairs of other countries.

Serves us right. If our stupid ****ing government/soldiers wouldn't do this, there would be nothing to hide. I'm glad it's out in the open for everyone to see. We have no business telling others how to run their country when we can't even manage our own. That's part of the reason why everyone hates us. The bombs will fall eventually, but not from this. Give it time, people.

    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
