Tempted to buy one of these little boxes.

What such devices are in the UK, apart from the Apple TV?

the big problem is streaming films is pretty small in the uk, i think you can buy boxee in the uk but you'd loose the film services and be left with iplayer and rss feeds.

you can download boxee for windows, osx and linux for free,

xbox360 has films but they only have a small range to choose from.

lovefilm has a streaming movie service but you need a special sony or samsung device.

its quite rubbish here.

honestly though, xbox360/Zune is getting quite excellent in Europe and most new movies do find their way there, and fairly soon to.

They are pointless, i cant think of any that work with UK tv services other than BBC Iplayer, no ITVPlayer, 4oD or Demand Five. Of the ones that support streaming over the internet you will find that you cant have access to 99% of the video because its all region locked to America.

Only thing i can suggest is buying a cheap old PS3, it already has BBC IPlayer and itvplayer, etc.. are coming soon for it.
