good work... though i do have a few critiques...

- i dont really like the taskbar being thin... perhaps you could have a thic taskbar version?

- those yeallow rollovers for the tabs

- start button

- thin titlebars

and there seems to be a smalll bug in the start menu:

ive got my icons at 64*64, and the my computer, control panel etc icons in the start menu appear squashed horizontally, see ss...

does it work fine with other themes?

Here, just to sum it out

------------------

1

-----------------

- Flat Start button (With Start Caption(and my suggestion is to find a font that is similar as Xeon's "Start" Caption in his Luna II Mod 1.2), and the new window flag)

- Thick taskbar

- Thick Caption bar (title bar?)

- Compact Start Menu

------------------

2

-----------------

Flat start button (Regular old start button)

Thick Caption bar(title bar?)

Thick Taskbar

?????

Well, I thik the majority wants a BLUE COLOURED tab highlights :D :D

Ok, after testing, here's my rant(s):

1. I thought the whole point of this "reborn" stuff was to finally fix errors/annoyances from mgartner's original and yet we STILL have this crap. The spacing is still WAY too far apart and the arrows are OUTSIDE the borders. For f*ck's sake, can someone fix this for unique?

2. I can't stand that chopped up start panel and the too thin taskbar. The icons in the taskbar are taller than the taskbar itself. Can we get a normal start panel, maybe even with the user pic? If not, could we get a version that looks like this? This pic here has every right about it. If it would only be put into the working version...

3. I don't like either start button that's come out. Can we simply replace mgartner's original flag with this one? Why can't we at least test this out, if nothing more?

Great work...a lot still to be done! Thanks unique!

The reason is for this is because your icons are too big. I think you have to change the size of the start menu to fit your icons.

Everything he said, BUT.... no2.

I'm partly agree with his idea, but no need for user picture... or you could make it two versions... with user picture, and without ;)

Also, compact and non-compact (the right pane)

as for the start button just relax....I want to find something everyone is kosher with.

And the bugs, no one told me all the bugs involved...i personally can live with the arrows where they are, but I will indeed fix it....the reason of these beta releases is so that the final can be as good as humanly possible. So don't worry, in time all will be fixed.

Unique....this theme was worth the wait. cheers mate for releasing it and getting it done. it is a awesome kick asse theme. i will use this for a while. i do like the yellowish version posted by antoxicion. keep up the good work. it would rock if someone could make a trillian skin and winamp 2.x skin as well. then this would be complete. do you have a background that matches this skin nicely. i am looking for one.

hey antoxicion, could you post that wallpaper link on here that you have for that color variation?

Unique...keep up the good work and excellent job.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
