I gave this a try about a month ago on an Oracle db and the performance was horrible. It took nearly 4 minutes to return a simple select statement on a table that has only a few thousand rows, TOAD returned the query in less than 100ms yet this tool never completed in less than 3 or 4 minutes.

I'll give it another try because I really dislike native Oracle tools but I'm not optimistic.

Tested with SQL Server. Worked pretty good. This will be a lot easier download for my customers when I need to do some investigating on their end. The SQL Server Management Studio install is too difficult for people that haven't done it before, and takes way too long.

I changed the provider from System.Data.OracleClient to Oracle.DataAccess.Client

(The Oracle Data Provider provides native high performance data access to the Oracle database)

You can try the latest version of Database .NET

The Database .NET 4.0.4025 has a lot of new features and enhancements.
