Beautiful desk! I've been in the market for something exactly like this but haven't found one yet. Please share what kind and where you got it from if possible.

Hi,

I also love this desk I just bought it a few months ago and it was probably the best furniture purchase I have ever made (quality for the money) and its great very sturdy, made out of real wood, not that pressed particle wood crap. Also I just want to give you a heads up that it took upwards of 6+ hours to assemble and you need at least two people to move its huge. I looked it up for you and saw that it is on sale right now! Here is the link:

PS: The hutch and desk are separate products.

That picture, of the guy with all the supposed guns, is old and has been flushed out as those being airsoft, not real!

The big give away is the mini-gun in the shelves on the right-hand side. The real ones can only be owned by the military

Not to burst your bubble but those guns/rifles can be, legally, purchased by civilians.

Many of those rifles/guns, yes, the real thing can be purchased by civilians.

However, a real {e.g. functioning} minigun and rocket launcher cannot be purchased by civilians. They are most likely some kind of fake/movie props, hence NOT REAL.

I dare you to try to buy one of those that is real and functioning. I am sure about a half-dozen alphabet agencies, including the BATFE, would have a word with you unless you are military or part of a government agency.

No-one who is authorized to have those kinds of weapons would be dumb enough to post a picture of it on the internet showing it in their little "man-cave".

Here is an example of a minigun movie prop:

Actually real ones can be purchased by civilians and are NOT movie props as suggested by some posters. Kentucky has one of the most relaxed gun laws in the country. If you can buy it, you can own it.

You do realize that the "workstation" is most likely NOT in the US (look at the Yahoo page, looks Japanese or Chinese). The US laws are NOT international

Well, there might be, but i sure can't think of a country with more relaxed gun-laws than the US so that just makes it more implausible :p

it actually seems to say Yahoo! Japan. So yea. I doubt they have more relaxed gun laws. To that extent anyways.

At the same time, seeing as it's Japan, a room full of ridiculously extravagant computer equipment and a full rack of airsoft/prop guns seems much more plausible...

I'm a developer / database admin / analyst / whatever they want. Those are all Dell 1907FP's (19 inches at 1280x1024). Basically we downsized and had lots of leftover hardware - one of my coworkers runs 4 monitors and a bunch of others run 3. Nobody has less than 2. Makes multitasking a beautiful thing. :-)

It might look excessive but I love the set up. It works well and I always have tons of stuff open. One monitor is dedicated to email, another to VNC or RDC or even putty - depends on what I work on. I can have one window open with my text editor and another with pgadmin or SQL developer.

That is true, but some weapons manufactured in the US cannot be owned by any private citizen in another country.

The minigun is a very highly restricted weapon, I highly doubt a Japanese/Chinese private citizen would own a real one.

I challenge someone to show me where it would be legal for a Japanese or Chinese citizen to own any of those guns as real. I believe the gun laws in Japan and China are many times more restrictive than those in the US.

There is no semi-automatic version of the minigun, only a fully automatic version and I don't believe any private citizen in Japan or China is allowed to own a fully automatic weapon.

    • We do it all the time on our IT Service desk mailbox to add a reference, in the subject line, once it's been logged and then it's filed into the appropriate sub-folder. Other companies probably do the same thing.
    • "No. The "New Outlook for Windows" does not support non-cloud mailboxes (such as on-premises Exchange servers). Furthermore, because the New Outlook effectively functions as a web-based client, it requires all connected accounts—even standard IMAP or POP accounts—to route and cache data through Microsoft's cloud servers. You can verify the accepted account setups using the Microsoft Supported Account Types Guide." Built to fail "New" Outlook is basically just webmail in a window wrapper and it's usefulness reflects that.
