KC
I would also suggest making sure all the ribbions are connected correctly, make sure nothing is loose an also make sure you didn't break a pin off or something.
titaniumdesigns
First thing i'll bring up is, is it a compaq??? If so good luck... Next this problem is due to the IDE cable is not placed in the right slot and needs to be moved, shut off the computer take off all the cables, restart the computer with no cables for 3-4 seconds to clean the Bios of anything it had registred before shut back off the computer then plug the Ide cable into Slot 1 or slot 0 depending on the motherboard then plug it in the drive. Make sure on the drive that the pin is set to master and then it should boot normally if its not a compaq... If by chance it is a compaq then scream and yell and then throw the computer into a pool.
