So yesterday i went to the bank emptied my account and went to my local camera shop and plopped down the cash for a brand new Canon EOS 7D....and....I...LOVE it!!!!

There have been many months of consideration in this decision and i finally pulled the trigger. I used to use a T1i (500D) and loved it but the more and more i held a (semi) pro body like the 7D and the 50D i just needed one of my own! My current lens line up is simple it s just a Canon EF-S 15-85mm IS USM and a Sigma 18-250 USM.

I am no pro by any means but you guys here are inspiring me more and more every day...so thank you Neowin photographers!

Btw does any one have any suggestions on lenses? What have you guys been using recently?

Awesome! I want to do the samething as you did.. empty my bank account to buy myself a camera.

Yeah...best decision i have ever made! :p

There just is no comparison, the 7D is amazing!

Well, on crop sensors a 50mm makes a good portrait lens, 30-35mm lenses are sweet on crop sensors and have an angle of view similar to the 50mm on Full Frame.

Cool, thanks i will be on the look out for a good 30-35mm!

Love my 7D, although I don't mind the T2i we have at work at all. In fact, I love how small and light it is haha.

I'd look at Sigma's 30 1.4 before the 50/1.4

Do you Have the Sigma 30 1.4? Is it a good lens.

Nice buy, I have the same 15-85 lens on a 50d, its a really nice one.

Yeah its a great lens, it has provided me with many great shots on my T1i!
