Warner Bros. have launched the official Facebook profile for their forthcoming Zack Snyder-directed 'Superman' reboot, Man of Steel. And that launch has offered the first look at the film's redesigned iconic emblem in the form of a banner

Lex has almost been in every superman movie to date... it is so played out. I rather that he face Darkseid or Brainiac. Someone that can give him a fight.

Should be interesting, are they going with the new DC reboot of the comics as well or are we basing this superman off of something older? I pretty much know next to nothing about the story.

It apparenly borrows some elementsz from Superman: Birthright.

Two main characters will be General Zod and Faora Hu-Ul.

Faora was the inspiration for Ursa in the Donner films, but even more evil - a Kryptonian serial killer.

Can the whole world just not sign a waiver to say we have seen the origin story or Superman and don't need a another film which goes over exactly the same thing just with a new angle (which will eventually be taken apart by true fans). I really want to see a Superman that isn't new to his powers, are story tellers not capable of that anymore?

Interesting, it should be good. The last movie was weak, I think it's about time to just reboot it since they've done a reboot of everything else out there.

This Superman is strongly hinted to NOT be a Boy Scout, and at some point behaves as an "Angry God." That should be pretty different.
