Just saw the gameplay video and I'm really stoked! Those huge vehicle heavy maps are going to be insane. The jet fights looked pretty insane too. Going to be loads of fun to play in one, that's for sure :D

Holy crap @ that gameplay video. I'm really psyched about BF3 now. I just hope my somewhat aged computer can make it shine like it deserves (I ran the alpha decently well on High at 1920x1080, so that's a good sign).

The alpha only really choked on processors that were not quad core. You can bet it's going to be much better by release, too.

I am running a Q8200 overclocked and undervolted @ 2.8 GHz, and a ATi 5850. I never experienced any FPS problems on the highest settings allowed, at 1920x1080.

Ditto. I don't know what a 590 is in comparison to SLi'd 460's. I didnt get to play the Alpha of BF3 as I only managed to connect to a game once and then it only lasted a minute or so, major issues with the origin thing, linking to browser, linking to the game. Horrendous way of launching the game :( why they did not do it all in game I don't know :(

I was trying to hold off buying it over the retailer specific DLC crap they are pulling, i even cancelled my pre-order, but after seeing conquest mode in MP i just had to pre order it again :|

That little bomb disposal robot makes me laugh every time i see it.
