Another tidbit from Gamescom.

Apparently players can spawn directly into vehicles if a teammate is driving it. That was another of my bugbears in all previous battlefield games, some tosser spawning and then taking a multiple seat vehicle all on their own leaving rest of the team having to go on foot.

You could do this before if someone in your squad was in a vehicle.

Always going to get the plane and helicopter queues.

- bf2 handling for helicopters

Where did you hear that? Alan Kertz via Twitter said air vehicles will have the same handling as 2142, which had auto stabilization so couldn't throw it about like BF2.

Don't ask me for a source, it was on his Twitter about 2 - 3 months ago.

From a guy that follows every stream from gamescom.

Need to stop watching these trailers until it's closer to release as it just gets me pumped for the game, only to realize it's still months away. Should probably try and get the hang of flying jets one of these days, but given my past history of flying in Battlefield games I may just save that for when I pick up Ace Combat. Hoping the game will be looking this good on my system as the graphics are truly amazing.

It would suck if you spawn into a vehicle with less than 5% HP... right before an RPG hits it.

Oh lol.

Yeah i agree but the pros far outweigh the cons, i used to get extremely frustrated spawning at base only for some idiot to jump into the only vehicle there and and drive off leaving teammates for dust.

Been banned a few times for sending a rocket up their arse for the trouble.

Pretty sure BC2 was that way... it sucks. "Oh goody gum drops I can look at the respawn screen even longer!"

I haven't been following this thread as much as I should, is there a way to deny revives from medics? That was one of the most irritating things about BC2 for me. So many unneeded extra deaths from idiot rambo medics.

It's definitely frustrating, especially when you spawn at the original spawn location. It better be an option though. Sometimes, I want to spawn on the ground (e.g. playing as recon). I can't snipe people when I'm in the front seat of a Humvee.

Yes, that feature was announced a long time ago.

I just saw some new game play footage, and it was on PS3...again. Is anyone worried that they have yet to show a 360 version? I have my limited edition pre-ordered for the 360 and I have yet to find out how it looks compared to the PS3. They say that the PS3, and 360 are to be the same, but I am starting to doubt it. I don't have a ps3 but my friend does and I watched Dead Space the other night and I cant imagine that looking the same. Just as an example.

...but you haven't seen actual 360 footage. What makes you think it will look worse? Didn't BC2 look pretty much identical for both 360 and PS3?

    • Windoze 11 could finally go to hell, instead of making me savor yet another error I've never had. "Bad Pool Caller" or whatever TF cryptic crap0la message it is. Adding salt to injury, it says something along these lines (on the blank black screen after it hard stops): "Your windoze needs to restart. You can restart." NO WAY SHERLOCK. The PEECEE, look, it's *blocked*, I can do jack sh1t with it as it is and you say that it needs to restart? Further, that I can restart? What am I supposed to do, take a herbal bath? Sudo a sandwich? Timewaster pile of useless slop and errors, coded by monkeys and force-fed on us by a pedo-founded corporation, that's all there is to it. Now, let's have a fun weekend trying to handle the error, which after a quick internet check can basically be due to EVERYTHING, from memory faults to drivers to motherboard issues. Thanks M$.
    • Zen Browser 1.21.3b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.21.3b changelog: New Features Updated to Firefox 152.0.1 Fixes Fixed transparency not working after updating to 1.21.2b (#14259) Fixed frequent crashes affecting users with Intel Raptor Lake processors Fixed an issue on macOS where choosing a PDF option, such as "Save as PDF", from the system print dialog would send the job to your printer instead of saving a file. • Microsoft, why can't I just turn off Copilot on my MS account (in order to stop OneDrive from wanting to summarize everything, ahem) in a way that doesn't break OneNote instead?
