Neowin.net Speed Wave Competition

Hey, just saw this new feature on Speedtest.net

They're called Speed Waves, where you all participate and collect results. You can also earn achievements in which you can battle other participants i.e the fastest uploader will get the 1UP achievement.

Join a speed wave:

Help:

Open up the link, create an account if not already got one (optional), and then "Join this Speed Wave"

You will be given the standard Speedtest.net interface on the following page, however all results will be saved to the Wave.

Once you've finished:

Share your username or ID of your result. I am JTaylor69 on the results.

Also state what speed you should be getting. I am on Virgin Media's 30Mb.

You can also see some nice stats by clicking "More Wave Stats" - on here you can see popular browsers, ISPs, bandwidth used, and badge winners.

Poor result? You can try the test as many times as you like! The competition is on guys!

Well I just had it auto-pick a server, but my geolocation is a bit off apparantly. Manually picked the nearest one and, well, this is the result.
