dolby71
Hi there, I recently bought a 27" iMac. I own the 3.2Ghz Core i3, with 4GB of ram and 1TB HDD. The thing is, 4GB just don't cut it. I want to upgrade to either 8GB or 12GB. First of all, I would like to get your opinion on purchasing from OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2010/DDR3_21.5_27). Second thing, I'm still not sure whether I need 12GB, or would 8GB be sufficient. I run Eclipse all the time, developing Android apps, Photoshop from time to time, iTunes in the background as well as Google Chrome (usually quite a few tabs at one time), Sparrow for Gmail, Reeder for RSS and uTorrent for... well, you know. Additional 4GB would cost me around 50$ +S&H, while 8GB would cost 110$ + S&H. So what do you guys think, should I do fine with an additional 4GB, or should I future-proof myself?
